Creek Cottage, Helford

A small stone cottage in the heart of the village. Next to the ford and the footbridge where the tide comes right into the village. The space A small cottage in the heart of the village. Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen and sitting area, upstairs has two bedrooms and the bathroom. There is a small balcony that catches the afternoon sun, and the world passes by the front door to cross the footbridge over the creek. I cannot stress that the cottage is small. Perfect for couples. Or couples with young kids. If you have teenagers or are a group of adults, unless you are planning to be very busy elsewhere much of the time, you’ll wish you were somewhere larger! Because I frequently am asked - I charge the cleaning at cost so that I can allow shorter stays (as long as the cleaning costs are covered) and so that longer stays are cheaper. I am sorry to say that I cannot reduce that cost, much as I’d like to. Guest access The house is all yours. Enjoy it. Other things to note The village shop is fantastic, but is only open from 9am - 12pm during the winter. In summer 9-3. If you are arriving late, you’ll need to bring supplies or stop at Mawgan stores on your way. The sailing club and the Shipwrights Arms (pub) are frequently closed out of season.
