The space The property is located just 1 mile from West Linton, a conservation village known for its rich history and spectacular location in the foothills of the Pentland Hills. Escape the blustery weather and light the wood burners in the lounge & dining room to complete the cosy atmosphere, appreciating the overarching rustic style of your home-away-from-home. Boasting large windows with timber frames, wooden flooring underfoot and statement furniture, the open-plan living space is split-level and divided by steps and contemporary stair rails. The kitchen is equipped with a breakfast bar for casual dining, but the large table is the focal point for mealtimes. Descend the steps and sip a nightcap on the sofas, stoking the wood burner and stargazing through the windows. There’s a handy utility room off the kitchen with additional cooking appliances and laundry facilities. A boot room and a downstairs shower room are also on the ground floor. Pour the drinks and enjoy a jamming session in the snug using the piano and guitars provided, or take your nightcap into the games room for a game of table tennis or pool. Upstairs, the bedrooms are crisply dressed and prepared for slumber, three of which have their own en-suites. Completing the property are two shower rooms and a family bathroom that’s ideal for long soaks. Outside, the vast garden has patio seating for al fresco breakfasts and all-weather BBQ suppers on the covered decked area, best enjoyed after relaxing in the sauna.
