It features a hot tub, fire pit, indoor wood burning stove, king bed, desk space, and selection of board games. Come unwind, disconnect from distractions, and reconnect to what matters in the stillness and beauty of the wilderness. Step into cozy luxury in this 540 sq foot modern cabin that contains a bedroom with a king bed and room darkening blinds, full bathroom with shower and bathtub, and an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen space. The living room has a wood burning free standing stove. Large windows in the living room and bedroom look out onto a private deck, hot tub, fire pit, and of course, the tranquil woods of Wilder. Ivy Cottage was designed by Wilder owner Shannon and was inspired by her love of British cottage design. We brought the outside in at Ivy Cottage with soft greens and natural wood tones and gave it personality with fun antique finds and a retro fridge! Keyless entry with a unique code generated for each guest will be shared via text/email prior to your arrival. Upon booking and again 3 days prior to your arrival you will receive a link to a digital guidebook with all of the information you'll need to have a great stay! PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO REVIEW IT! The digital guidebook will include information on the cabin, property, nearby areas of interest, fun activities, and other helpful tips. If you don't see what you're looking for in the digital guidebook we're available to answer any questions you may have Monday-Sunday 6AM-10PM and expect to answer your question within a few hours. Nestled on 40 acres in the rolling hills of Vinton County, OH, Wilder is close to it all while appearing to be a thousand miles away. Off the property you'll find that Wilder is perfectly situated only 10-15 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park, Logan, Lake Hope, and Zaleski State Forest. Within these areas you'll find ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors hiking, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, bird watching, horse back trail riding, ATVing, zip lining, and more! It's a nature-lover's paradise and all located within a short drive of Wilder. We are in the process of getting Wi-Fi extended to all cabins. We have limited cell reception, as is common in the hilly Hocking Hills region. All carriers do receive signal at the ridge along the main path in our property where this cabin is located. Most guests are able to make calls and receive texts from inside the cabin! There is a charcoal grill on the deck, which you will need to bring charcoal for. We have grill tools supplied in the kitchen. We also have a fire pit, and wood on site near parking for $10 a bundle. All proceeds go to the Boy Scouts who supply our wood.
