Old Deichvogthaus

The "Alte Deichvogthaus" is a completely renovated former servants' house built in a half-timbered style. Old, stylistic elements (beams, timber framing) have been preserved or restored. The cottage is located in the middle of the biosphere reserve Lower Saxony Elbe Valley, right on the Elbe cycle path. The property has tame goats and sheep of old domestic breeds. A large orchard, with old fruit varieties and a herb garden are also available for our guests. Guest access A large orchard with a play area for children (playhouse, swing, trampoline) is available to all guests, as is our garden sauna. In summer, the Elbe offers swimming, but above all excellent fishing opportunities! The "water expert" can rent a rowboat with outboard motor. Other things to note - Washing machine and dryer: fee €2 per use - Motorboat with 2.5 hp outboard motor: €25 per day plus petrol - Conventional bicycle: €5 per day - E-bike: €18 per day (individual price agreements for longer use) - Bed linen and towels included; from one week, a change of linen can be made (2 people complete: €20; only towels for 2 people: €10 On the subject of the Internet: Since January 2020, we have fast Internet (fiber) that covers all speed needs.
