The space Step inside, and you'll be greeted by the inviting, woodsy ambiance of the interior. The open-concept living space features exposed log beams, a majestic stone fireplace, skylights and several large windows. Relax on the spacious and cozy couch by the fire or gather around the wooden dining table to share meals and stories with loved ones. Step outside, and you’ll be amazed at how much beauty awaits. The area of Drums, PA is a beautiful, mountainous area that sits central and adjacent to many popular attractions. After a day of exploration, you can unwind by the stone fireplace, perhaps sipping on hot cocoa or a glass of wine, and relishing the tranquility of the mountain evenings. Guest access You will have access to the ground floor and upper level (loft) of the house as well as the 1.5 acre outdoor space. The lower level of the house will be locked and off limits since it is currently being remodeled. All the other parts of the house are yours to use and explore. The same goes for the outside space with the exception of the pool and barn. More details can be found in the guidebook and house manual that will be made available after the booking has been confirmed. Other things to note 1) There are very specific instructions on how to operate the wood burning stove that are included in the house manual that is provided once the booking is confirmed. 2) There is an above ground pool on the property that is covered and not available for guests to access. The surrounding deck and pergola, however, are available to explore. 3) The Nintendo Switch has a security lock in place to protect it from being undocked. The reason for this is that there is less of a chance of it being dropped while it remains docked. 4) The house is very “smart”. There is smart lighting and an Alexa device in virtually every room. There is also a Ring security system. All of this is optional to use and details will be provided in the “house manual” after booking.
