Dog friendly Little Appleby is located in Egerton, rural Kent, the Garden of England. We are well placed for the tunnel with Folkestone, Le Shuttle 20 miles away. Egerton adjacent to Pluckley boasts many lovely country walks with huge Dering woods walkable from the listing and the villages of Goudhurst and Sissinghurst within 20 minutes. By car, Rye, Canterbury & Whitstable are within 40 minutes Ashford Designer outlet is 25 minutes away. The dog friendly restaurant and pub is a 5 minute walk. The space Little Appleby is positioned behind our property. We respect your privacy and you will not be disturbed. The garden area is fenced off with a small patio/grass area, table and chairs and gas BBQ. If you have your four legged friend with you it will be totally secure, also from the front gate, on the drive and to your entrance is fully secure. There are many beautiful walks from the property accessible from the lane, as well as 300 acre Dering woods a two minute drive with a free car park. The Rose & Crown pub is less than a 5 minute walk, on the junction of Mundy Bois. It is worth booking in advance to avoid disappointment. You can book online. Frasers restaurant is 2.5 miles away and the Dering Arms pub and restaurant 5 minutes by car. Pluckley village is also 5 minute drive with the Black Horse pub and restaurant, convenience store, post office and butchers. The farm shop is at the bottom of Pluckley. Egerton also has a village shop. Guest access Unfortunately the drive is not accessible for our guests as it opens with a key fob. We have a Beagle named Daisy who may be in the garden and she would love to run off and explore given any opportunity! There is space for one car in front of our house. Please park in front of the fence with the black postbox attached to it. If you are bringing two cars, please park directly opposite us on the grass verge. Guests have access to Little Appleby through the front pedestrian gate. Little Appleby is to rear of the drive. Other things to note We have a small beagle called Daisy .
