Traditional B&B near Heerenveen - Pronkkamer

Our Frisian Stelboerderij dates from 1890. Located between Heerenveen and Wolvega. Thialf, Sportstad Heerenveen (various sports activities) and the beautiful forests of Oranjewoud within cycling distance. The traditional front house was completely renovated in 2021. The accommodations are designed entirely in ancient style. This makes you feel like you go back in time but with the comfort of this century. Breakfast can be realized please contact us for the possibilities. The space This accommodation is available for 2-4 persons. This room is from the farmer's Pronkkamer in the farmer's and farmer's place. In this room, they only stayed in heyday. This unique room has retained the ancient elements during the renovation such as a beautiful dolphel blue tile wall and the fireplace is still completely in old style. The living/sitting area contains the sofa, a dining table with 6 chairs, a spacious sink with kettle and a large linen closet. You sleep in the traditional bedding (2 times 120x200) if you book for 2 people you use 1 bed , if you want to use both beds then there are expenses. In addition, the room is nicely decorated in traditional style. Your private bathroom with toilet is located in the common hall Guest access The accommodations are accessible via a private driveway with parking lot, which is only available for our guests. You have access to your own accommodation, the shared hall where your private bathroom including toilet is. In addition, you have access to the garden and terrace, which is only available for our guests (ready from spring 2024). During your stay We will welcome you and be available during your stay for any questions you may have. On site, we will discuss with each other how the contact will take place. Because there are 3 accommodations in total, there may be interaction with other guests, partly due to the common hall where the private bathrooms are located. Other things to note The traditional front house is separated from the back house by a barn. The front house is exclusively available for our guests where there are a total of 3 accommodations.
