Secluded dog friendly retreat, with log burner

The Coach House has been completely renovated to provide light-filled, spacious accommodation for 2 adults or 2 adults and a child under 12; you are also welcome to bring your dog to stay. The triple-aspect living space has a wood-burning stove, comfortable sitting and dining areas, a new fitted kitchen and a dedicated workspace/reading nook. The large bedroom has ziplink beds which can be made up as either a kingsize bed or two singles, plus a chairbed for a child. The space The Coach House has a large living space with sofa and armchair, TV, dining table for 3 and a wood burning stove. A new feature is the reading nook with views over the private garden, and a desk area with lamp and usb sockets. There is also a large built in cupboard housing the washing machine, with plenty of storage above. The new open plan kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, built in oven, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge/freezer. The large double aspect bedroom has a kingsize zip-link bed, which can be made up as two singles, plus a wardrobe and storage, and a chair bed suitable for use (on request) in the main bedroom by a child up to the age of 12. The newly fitted en-suite shower room has a large shower enclosure, basin, wc, heated towel rail and plenty of storage. Located in the grounds of Mevagissey House, there are 3 acres of gardens, lawns and wooded areas around the property. The Coach House has its own large secluded garden area, patio area with garden furniture and rotary washing line, plus on-site parking just yards from the cottage. Electric heating, electricity and bed linen included, plus an initial supply of logs in the winter months for the wood burning stove. The village, harbour, shops and restaurants are at the bottom of the hill - approx 8 mins walk down, allow 15 mins coming back up as all our hills are quite steep! Guest access Guests have private use of the whole cottage. The large garden makes up part of the three acres of grounds at Mevagissey House; it is for guests private use, but is not fenced separately from the rest of the grounds. Other things to note Access information – gently sloping pathway with 4 steps at intervals, then 4 steps into porch. The accommodation is all on the first floor of the building, with a change of level (one step) in the hallway between the living space and the bedroom.
