Private Studio Apartment Near Prospect Park
Private Studio Apartment Near Prospect Park
Description
Come stay in a newly renovated garden-level studio with private entrance, bathroom and kitchen. Situated on a tree-lined street between historic Green-Wood Cemetery and Prospect Park, it includes a queen bed, velvet sofa that folds down to a bed, TV, fast Wi-Fi, a kitchen and electric fireplace. Around the corner are cafes, restaurants, a yoga studio and bodegas. A few minutes' walk are the F/G lines and a few more gets you to the Q. Multiple bus lines are about a block away. The space The spacious, well-appointed space is accessible via a west-facing private entrance that stays dimly lit in the mornings but receives wonderful afternoon sun. The front sitting area has a cozy sofa that can double as a twin-sized bed. There's a desk beside the two 3/4 height windows, where you can write your postcards or hop on the laptop. You'll also find a cozy heated electric fireplace insert and a TV with many streaming services available. The queen bed easily lifts up and out of the way, providing ample floor space for getting in some morning exercise... or you can just stay in bed a bit longer. No judgements here. Along the back is a full kitchen with stove & exhaust fan, sink, toaster, coffee maker, fridge/freezer and microwave. Finally, through the door to the right is your private bathroom with a full-sized sink/vanity, large walk-in shower and exhaust fan. You'll also find extra sheets and towels in its linen closet. Guest access You'll have full and exclusive use of the studio. There is a private entrance facing the street and there's a rear emergency exit. Other things to note Our family of two adults, a 7 and 10 year old and two small dogs live upstairs. While we've installed soundproof insulation between the garden level and upstairs, you should expect to sometimes hear some muffled sounds coming from above from around 7:30 - 8:30am and 6 - 8pm during the week and on-and-off between 8am - 8pm on the weekends.
