The kitchen offers a gas range, two ovens, a large refrigerator, and a fully stocked supply of kitchenware for making your favorite meals. The home boasts two decks with new lounge furniture, two grills, a high-top table and chairs, and a gorgeous live-edge picnic table. Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We’re also within a few hours of Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Aspen, and other snowy delights. There is a Nordic center near Breck if you want to try out cross-country skiing, and the summer months are a great time to rent a kayak to explore Dillon Reservoir. There is no public transport, such as a bus, Uber, etc. nearby. You need a 4WD vehicle to get around during all months of the year except July and August. During July and August, an AWD vehicle is acceptable. The easiest way to get out and explore is by hopping on CO-119 to explore North or South, CO-119 to I-70 to explore deeper into the mountains to the West, or CO-46 to explore East of Black Hawk. Please note that access to the hot tub requires a fee of $75. The cottage is in a HIGH fire danger area, and even the smallest ash can start a wildfire. If you smoke cigarettes, please speak with management. Smoking in the home will incur a cleaning fee of $200+. If you are visiting in the winter, you will need a 4WD vehicle to access this property.
