Snug Haven is an excellent short to mid-term accommodation solution for tourists, researchers, and academics seeking a quiet and affordable space to focus on their work and meet other like-minded individuals. This place was designed by The Berecons Development Initiative to cultivate a network and a sense of community among its staff and lodgers and to generate local funds for initiatives in rural Ghana. Snug Haven is where everyone becomes an ambassador for change in their own way and time. The space Situated on the same compound as the host, who lives in a separate house, Snug Haven offers two fully furnished rooms within GREDA Estates. The closest landmarks are the Ghana International Mall, Alora Beach Resort, Laboma Beach Resort, and Labadi Beach Hotel. Several popular stores and supermarkets are in the vicinity as well. These rooms, spanning 18 and 26 square meters, are part of a two-story structure with ensuite bedrooms upstairs for enhanced privacy. A dedicated visitor’s toilet downstairs ensures guest privacy, and the living room could double as a versatile office space. Outdoor seating along the house’s frontage provides a peaceful outdoor workspace, and the streets are safe for a mid-day/mid-work stroll. Fifteen minutes from the Palace Mall, Melcom Mall, and other renowned shopping centres in Accra, Snug Haven is proximal to various restaurants, stores, and amenities. We are about 15 minutes drive from the main airport and about 10 minutes from the city centre. The host shares their space with indoor pets and appreciates guests who are friendly, respectful, and considerate of their property. Guest access Guests can access the well-equipped living room downstairs, which could also serve as a convenient workspace featuring high-speed internet. The shared kitchen is fully stocked, facilitating easy and efficient cooking experiences. Additionally, a balcony is available for guests to relax and enjoy their quiet day. During your stay Communication Hosts are available to attend to guests’ needs and can be reached directly via phone, email, SMS, or IM. Guests are encouraged to feel free to reach out using the provided contact details. We strive to respond promptly; please allow at least one hour for a reply. Other things to note Our check-in hours are flexible. However, the standard check-in hours are from 15:00 to 16:00, and check-out is expected between 12:00 and 13:00. House Rules: Please refrain from smoking inside the property and utilise designated outdoor areas for that. Hard drugs and illegal substances are not allowed on our property. Unfortunately, as we already have enough pets, pets are not allowed. We may be open to discussing options where they must travel with you. To maintain a peaceful atmosphere for everyone, guests must adhere to quiet hours, specified as 21H00 and 09:00 Monday through Friday. Parking: Parking will be inside the compound. We will provide extra details regarding parking upon arrival. Complimentary (for bookings fourteen days and over): 1. We offer complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off as part of our hospitality services. Please provide your flight details in advance, and our designated driver and representative from our establishment will be there to ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience. 2. Dinner on the first night of booking. 3. Breakfast the next morning. 4. One tour of the city on the hosts. 5. Complimentary housekeeping once a week. Additional housekeeping services are available for an extra fee. 6. Additional laundry services beyond the initial complimentary one are offered at an additional charge. 7. Transportation convenience is ensured with a standby driver available for easy access to town and other areas. NB. Please note that fuel costs and driver fees are the guest’s responsibility. 8. Driver reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance, and for out-of-region trips, please provide a 48-hour notice. Emergency requests may be considered based on the circumstances of the day.
