Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway, romantic weekend, an outdoor hiking adventure, lake day, or a cozy base for attending a wedding ;‘Simmer Down’ is the place to be. This eclectic retreat is situated near Red River Gorge and the vast Daniel Boone Forest. Enjoy Murder Branch Trail, Sheltowee Trace, Devils Market House Arch & Broke Leg Falls The space The cabin is private and sits on 2 acres of land! Hang out in the hammocks, listen to the rain on our comfy porch furniture, build a fire and relax in the new hot tub under the stars! ⭐️ Inside you will find a comfy kitchen nook and a place to kick up your feet. The cabin has been meticulously decorated to bring you an unwinding experience. The first bedroom has views of the backyard while the other bedroom is fun and brings out a touch of our favorite places traveled and a small desk in case you need to work-we have the BEST internet! Both rooms have queen sized beds and extra blankets. The cabin is located near the Clifty Wilderness of Red River Gorge, Daniel Boone National Forest and Cave Run Lake. There are many hiking trails nearby and the Nada Tunnel known as the "Gateway to The Red River Gorge" is 20.9 miles away. Cave Run Lake (Long Bow Marina) is just 5.6 miles and Scott’s Marina (boat rentals) is 17 miles away! Rent a boat or swim at any of the swim beaches. It’s one of our favorite places!! No oven The bathroom has a shower (amenities only allows us to select bath tub)
