This beautiful water front property is located on the private island of Normans Cay in the Exumas. This pet friendly home sits on 5 acres to ensure absolute peace and privacy. The entire home is a duplex for a total of 4 bedrooms. , two king rooms and two with 2 double beds . Each unit has a full kitchen , living and dining area. There is a large shared veranda with outside dining for 12 , an outdoor living area and pool. Every room has a water view. There is an 80Ft dock for your boat The space All 4 bedrooms have an amazing waterfront view and their own entrance to enjoy the ocean breeze. Guests have the choice of dining in or on the large veranda that also boasts an outside living room area perfect for after dinner conversation , cocktails and entertaining. There is a grill available. There is a wonderful outdoor shower to rinse off after a day on the boat or at the beach . There is a large float mat in front of the house for the kids and adults to play on. There is also a float that seats 6 adults to share the days delights. There are 2 kayaks to explore the shallows Guest access When you book Harvest Moon the entire home is yours. Other things to note Come and experience the tranquility of this peaceful island paradise and the white sand beaches of the Exuma Islands! Guests will need to bring in their own food and drink,. There is one small store on Norman’s which is good for any incidentals. There are basic condiments and spices available included with the rental. Highbourne Cay, 5 miles to the north , offers a well stocked store as well as a nice restaurant called Xuma. Highbourne Cay is accessible by boat or sea plane only. Provisioning can be done in advance for an additional fee. There is one restaurant on Normans cay. A brand new world class yacht club is open for cocktails and dinner . Reservations are required and our property manager can assist . Each Rental comes with a truck to move around the island. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers available . There is 1, 1 person kayak and 1, 2 person Kayak. There are 2 paddle boards. The 80 Ft dock is included in the rental rate. The dock has 30 amp and 50 amp shore power available. The rate for shore power is $30.00/day for 30 amp and $50.00/day for 50 amp. The entrance to our protected lagoon allows for boats with a 5ft or less draft At high tide. There is 8Ft at low tide at the dock. There is a world class Marina on Normans to keep your boat should it draw more than the entrance to the lagoon allows. Enjoy world class fishing less than a half mile from our shores and world class snorkeling all around Norman’s. The infamous drug plane sits in about 10ft of water right off Normans and is a great snorkel. There is good snorkeling right off our dock. Many species of reef fish call it home. The protected lagoon is home to many sea turtles which can be frequently seen from the dock or veranda. The Exuma Land and Sea Park begins just south of Normans Cay. Due to our prime location in the Exuma island chain, Shroud Cay, Warderick Wells (the land and sea park head quarters) Compass Cay and Staniel Cay are all easily explored. Shroud Cay with its tidal river and “washing machine “ Compass Cay famous for swimming with the sharks, Big Majors Spot with the swimming pigs and the Staniel Cay yacht club are all wonderful destinations to explore. Little Farmers Cay , just south of Staniel offers a “swim with the turtles” experience. There are several stunning , private beaches within a very short drive of the property ideal for shelling , swimming or simply soaking up the sun.
