Brigydon is a beautiful cottage with stunning views over the coast of Tresaith, Ceredigion. Right on your doorstep you can find the sandy beach, a lovely pub and fantastic coastal walks. ( 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ) The space Brigydon is a spacious, light and airy semi-detached cottage with exceptional views out over Tresaith beach and Cardigan Bay, from its picture windows! Only a stone’s throw away to Tresaith’s beautiful beach you have everything you could possibly need only a minute’s walk from the doorstep. There is nothing nicer of an evening than sitting in the lounge, looking out over Cardigan Bay as the sun goes down. It is an ideal place to stay for families or couples looking for somewhere next to a beach, with sea views. If you are an avid walker, there are some great walks in the area, especially with the Ceredigion Coast Path only a short distance from the cottage. Discover incredible scenery and maybe even spot a dolphin or two! Tresaith beach is dog friendly (half of the beach during the summer season) and so is the nearby pub, making it a great place to bring your dogs along. If you want to explore more of Cardigan Bay, Aberporth is a short drive away or you can walk there along the coast path. Whilst visiting Aberporth you can explore the fantastic beaches, swim, paddleboard or wander the beautiful seaside village. Due to its location, Brigydon is equally suited to spring/summer holidays as well as autumn and winter breaks, as the views from the picture windows are enjoyable and relaxing whatever the weather. OUTSIDE Enclosed patio area with a small grassed area, table and chairs. The garden area is fenced, but please ensure children are supervised. Please be aware that there are approximately 5 steps to negotiate, from the patio area to the front door and kitchen door of Brigydon. Drive Parking. Details for local transport will be available on arrival at Brigydon Arrival and car parking • The approach to the cottage is directly from the beach road onto a gravelled driveway, with plenty of space for 2 cars • There is also a PIR security light that activates when entering the driveway at night. The driveway is a few metres from the front door and there are two garden gates to go through • As the cottage is partly built into the side of the road there are more steps than usual • There are two front doors to the property. One leads to the kitchen, the other to the hallway. Both have approximately 7 slate steps to get to both doors. Both have handrails • There is a key safe (Code will be sent to you, prior to your arrival) • Basic welcome pack included • Mobile phone coverage is good; however, it is better on the seaside of the house • Unlimited, free WiFi, good signal • Tesco do a delivery service (nearest is Cardigan 10miles) Please arrange for after 3pm on your day of arrival • Due to the amount of steps leading to the front doors, please contact the owner for further details on access to the property • The property has an EV charging point which can be used by guests using the GoZero app. Full instructions and QR code are provided in the information pack in the property. The app will charge you for the electricity you use. You must not charge vehicles via any other method. Inside • The hallway is part tiled, with hooks to hang coats and to leave footwear. Area to hang dogs leads • The property has laminate flooring in most rooms • Main staircase (carpet runner) leads up to the bedrooms and main bathroom • Entrance doors to main living room and sitting room. Main living room has sofa to sit 3 adults, 2 armchairs, window seat with views to sea. This provides a semi-secure area for children and dogs • To access the beach, you will need to walk along the beach Road, which is on a slope,(but only for less than a minute). This Road can get busy, but as it is narrow and sloping, vehicles travel at a slow speed.
