The space The "Le Clos du Val d'Or" cottage is located in the village of Avenay Val D'or, 10 km from Épernay and its famous Avenue de Champagne, 30 km from Reims and Chalons en Champagne. It is located in a green setting on the heights of the village, enclosed by a wall (boundary wall all around the park), the garden (50 ares) is crossed by a small stream and also has a forest (about 1.5 hectares). You will be the only ones on the estate. It will be the ideal place for your stays with family or friends, with calm and total disconnection but with quick access to the riches of our department (walks in the vineyards, museums, shops etc...) Marc, the owner, is a winegrower and will be able to offer you an explanation about champagne, a tour and even a tasting if you wish. The cottage has a large living room with dining/living room and kitchen giving access to the terrace (with views of the stream and forest). From the living room you will also have access to two bedrooms (one bedroom with a 160 double bed, and one bedroom with two single beds) as well as a shower room. A laundry room is located in the basement with washing machine and dryer. New in 2026: The gîte will be equipped with a Nordic bath from April 2026 and 4 electric bikes The price includes sheets (beds made on arrival), end-of-stay cleaning and charges, hot tub and electric bicycles.
