Le Clos du Val d'Or - AVENAY-VAL-D'OR The space The gîte has a large living room with a dining/living area and a kitchen that leads to the terrace (with views of the stream and the forest). From the living room you will also have access to two bedrooms (one bedroom with a double bed in 160, and one with two single beds) as well as a shower room. A laundry room is located in the basement with a washing machine and dryer. New in 2026: The vacation rental will be equipped with a Nordic bath from April 15, 2026, and 2 electric bicycles. The price includes sheets (beds made on arrival), end-of-stay cleaning and charges, Nordic bath and electric bicycles. Bathroom linen is not provided and no option possible. Electric charging station at the train station in the village The “Le Clos du Val d'Or” cottage is located in the village of Avenay-Val-d'Or, 10 km (6 miles) from Épernay and its famous Avenue de Champagne, and 30 km (19 miles) from Reims and Châlons-en-Champagne. It is located in a green setting on the heights of the village, enclosed by a wall (a perimeter wall around the entire park); a small stream runs through the garden (50 acres), which also has a forest (approximately 1.5 hectares). You will be the only ones on the estate. It will be the ideal place for your stays for families or friends, with a calm and total disconnection but with quick access to the riches of our department (walks in the vineyards, museums, shops etc...) Marc, the owner, is a winemaker and can offer you an explanation about champagne, a visit and even a tasting if you wish.
