Cosy barn near sandy beach
Cosy barn near sandy beach
Description
This newly converted hay barn is set in the private grounds of a thatched 16th-century manor house, just a short stroll from Bacton Beach. It's an ideal base for exploring this part of the North Norfolk coast, including Cromer, Happisburgh, Mundesley, the Broads and beyond. There's a courtyard with garden views and a firepit for summer evenings, and a log burner for cosying up in front of the TV in winter. Original features include exposed beams and a pretty flint exterior. The space The open-plan kitchen lounge area includes a large comfy sofa, TV with Sky channels, and a log burner. There's a small table for dining (and working) and a spacious kitchen area with fridge/ice box, oven, hobs, filter coffee machine and kettle. The flagstone floor is heated and there's direct access to the garden and private courtyard. Upstairs, sink into the super-king-size bed or curl up in the leather chesterfield armchair with a classic novel from our small library. There's even a retro-style record player and selection of vintage vinyl records to choose from. You can listen to radio stations, podcasts and more on the Echo speakers upstairs and downstairs – just ask Alexa. You can also connect via bluetooth to play your own media through the speakers. Guest access The Little Hay Barn is accessed via its own private path. The courtyard is private and guests are also welcome to use the garden area in front of the barn. Other things to note We provide a starter pack of wood and kindling for the log burner during winter, plus a few welcome amenities year-round.
