The Pink House sits in an idyllic location just above Falmouth Marina within the grounds of Bluff House and in the heart of English Harbour. Newly refurbished, The Pink House offers comfortable, spacious and elegant accommodation for up to 5 guests. The private infinity and spa pool offer outstanding views. Private and peaceful, you will just be minutes walk from Pigeon Beach with famous Catherine's Cafe, and plenty of excellent restaurants and bars within English Harbour. The space Newly built and interior-designed, The Pink House offers extremely comfortable self-catering accommodation within the heart of English Harbour (so just a short walk to Pigeon Beach and famous Catherine’s Cafe plus plenty of bars and restaurants) but set within its’ own private garden with both an infinity and a spa pool and outstanding views over Falmouth Marina. Entering through the private garden (there is plenty of parking just by the house) you will find a covered dining area (with ceiling fans) and a large dining table seating up to 8 overlooking the infinity pool - there’s also a gas bbq here too. An exceptionally spacious and well-planned kitchen and sitting area (with air con and ceiling fans) offer everything that you might need to prepare a delicious meal - American fridge/freezer, range cooker, dishwasher and more than enough plates, glassware, serve-ware and utensils. There are plenty of books, board games, tv, local information plus a safe, too. Coffee lovers will appreciate a choice of Nespresso coffee machine, filter coffee machine plus a selection of French press (La Cafetière) jugs. The bedrooms lead directly off the sitting area. The Pink Bedroom boasts a king size four poster bed, plenty of wardrobe space,air-con and ceiling fan and a en-suite bathroom with shower. The Blue Bedroom offers two single beds which can be made up as a super-king, air-con and ceiling fan, en-suite bathroom with shower and sliding doors leading on to a private terrace area. Off the Blue Bedroom there is a third bedroom with a single bed and space for a travel cot, plus plenty of storage. This room also has air-con and a ceiling fan. The pool and terrace area have plenty of sunbathing options - five sun beds plus a four poster outdoor bed - all with amazing views. There’s a large sun umbrella too for those that want to stay in the shade. Venture through the garden and you will find The Gazebo - the perfect spot for sundowners whilst watching the boats in the harbour or a quiet afternoon read out of the sun, with an OKA outdoor sofa, ceiling fan and lighting. All linens and towels are included - including beach and pool towels. Hairdryers, body wash, shampoo and conditioner (the latter made locally) are also included. You will love the fact that Pigeon Beach is just 5 minute walk down the lane and boasts famous Catherine's Cafe and locally run Bumpkins Cafe too. There's an outdoor shower at The Pink House, perfect for rinsing off after a visit to the beach. Everything really is on your doorstep here - restaurants, bars, delicatessens, wine shops and food shops. French-Creole Colibri, is a charming restaurant set in an amazing garden, Indian Summer (you can get take-aways here too), Admiral's Inn, South Point, Loose Cannon on Galleon Beach....too many to mention here but once booked you will see them all and many more on our website. We are happy to help and advise on cooks or chefs and can recommend some wonderful suggestions for your holiday - perhaps having a sailing lesson at The Sailing Academy, joining "Rum in the Ruins" for a fascinating historical talk, horse riding, tennis courts, pickle ball, hiring kayaks, swimming with sting-rays, hiking - and plenty of other ideas, too. We are based in the UK but our brilliant on-island House Managers can arrange airport transfers and liaise with the driver to meet you at The Pink House on arrival to show you around - they can also provision the house for your arrival - always good to arrive to a full fridge! You don't need a car here but if you wish you can always hire one on a day-by-day basis in English Harbour. The Pink House sits in 2 acres of gardens and can also be rented alongside Bluff House (sleeps 12-14) and The Garden House (sleeps 4) - listed separately. Please note that for Peak and High Seasons we do get booked at least 12 to 24 months in advance for all properties.
