Araam is a luxury 5-bedroom mountain homestay with stunning mountain and valley views. Enjoy cosy rooms, a spacious dining area, a rooftop for sunsets, a yoga room for practice or meditation, and plenty of open space to unwind. Your stay includes all meals, from tea and coffee to nourishing dishes throughout the day, plus laundry. Perfect for families, friends, or groups seeking comfort, nature, and the slow pace of mountain life. The space Araam is tucked away just a short 5–6 minute walk from the main road. Parking is available at the start of the path, and we recommend wearing comfortable shoes—it’s all part of the peaceful journey! A member of our team will meet you there to guide you and help carry your luggage to the homestay. If you have knee concerns, mobility issues, or any health condition that makes walking difficult, kindly inform us before booking. We’ll do our best to arrange support, but if that isn’t possible, we may not be able to accept the booking. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to our little haven. Nearest Airport: Dharamshala / Gaggal Airport (14km, about 30min) Nearest Bus Stand: Maximus Mall, Dharamshala (13km, about 30 min) Guest access The Homestay which is located on the 1st & 2nd floor is all yours. This includes the following: Ground floor: Book Nook: Mindfully curated books to peruse in our library gazebo. 1st Floor: 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms Yoga room: A fully appointed yoga room is ready for you to practice. Mats and props available for guest use. 2nd Floor: 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms and kitchenettes Dining Area: Enjoy your meals at our cozy cafe and dining space. Rooftop Patio: Rest and enjoy the views from the top of the Araam on our rooftop patio. Other things to note There is no parking space at the property. Like everyone in the village, guests park on the main road (approx. 300m away) and enjoy a 5-minute walk to the homestay. A team member will meet you, guide you, and help with luggage. The village is home to sheep, dogs, cats, goats, cows, and buffaloes — you’ll likely see them around. Being nestled in nature, you may come across spiders, flies, or small insects. They’re harmless, and our staff will happily help if you’d like them removed. Please avoid loud music after 9:00 pm out of respect for our village community. We proudly serve coffee from Pahadee Coffee Roasters (Bir) and tea from Wah Tea Estate — do try them during your stay. Extra bedding can be provided on request. Kids and trained pets are welcome. Please note, we also have a friendly German Shepherd on the property. We do experience occasional power cuts, but we have a backup that supports one charging point, a light in the room, and the bathroom. You can request a sound healing or guided meditation session with us during your stay. These are offered on request and subject to availability.
