Our Water House: The Uticastle

Take it easy at this laid-back getaway. 1970's vibe decor in this 1972 vintage home. Open, airy, & spacious with expansive views of the Ohio River. Hear the water lapping at the shore & watch wildlife while you lounge on the screened porch. The house is sunny & bright with picture windows that provide unobstructed views of stunning sunrises. Covered parking & plenty of driveway space if you would like to bring your boat. Public boat ramp 3.8 miles away. Sit back & watch the regattas and barges. The space The main rental home gives access to the 2nd floor and sleeps up to 4 people. If you have up to 2 additional guests, the 1st floor can be rented for an additional $50 per night. It remains locked and vacant if you are not renting. The main house (2nd floor) has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Blue bedroom has queen bed and smart TV. The primary has a king bed, sitting area, smart TV, and full bath. There is a 1/2 bathroom in the hall. **NOTE: The full bath is located in the primary bedroom with jetted tub. The main house has a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. If you have 5-6 guests or want to rent the 1st floor for extra space PLEASE READ BELOW: 1st floor "indoor camping" space. There is a full bath with shower, toilet, and sink as well as efficiency countertop/sink in foyer room. The living room has full view of the river with blinds for privacy. *Cement floor- need to bring blow up bed or sleeping bags. Portable air conditioner for summer, space heaters for winter. *If not rented, the 1st floor stays vacant and locked. 1st and 2nd floor are not connected by an interior stairwell.
