This is a combined listing for 2 houses and listings, on the same property. This charming, private, cabin & house sits on ~11 acres of land at roughly 10k feet of elevation and there are tons of places to explore, from hiking right out the back gate, the local gold mine, to the casinos in Cripple Creek, Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center, and tons of outdoor adventures, this is the perfect rental for outdoor enthusiast or anyone just looking to kick back and relax. Mountain Cabin - Details The indoor space is dynamic - it could sleep up to 6 people, although there is a maximum of 4 beds. Please let me know what layout will work best for you: + Bedroom 1: Queen (static - this bedroom is always a queen bed) + Bedroom 2: Twin XL (2x) -or- King (1x) + Livingroom: Queen sized murphy bed (optional) Layout A: BR1 = Queen & BR2 = Twin XL (2x) Layout B: BR1 = Queen & BR2 = King (1x) If you would like the murphy bed made, with either Layout A or B, please let me know in advance. Thank you! Much appreciated! Mountain House - Details The space is set up to accommodate a wide variety of stays, from romantic getaways to family vacations... or from temporary remote work location to low-key celebrations or even small events. Some specifics about "Mountain House", there are 3 different heat sources, and the house has AC. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances to make nearly whatever you'd like during your stay, as well as a mix of basic spices, herbs, eggs, and various kitchen essentials. The outdoor space has it's very own outdoor dining area as well as dog run, which nearly entirely encompasses the cabin, and plenty of parking space(s). Guests have full access to the guest cabin, and surrounding property. Front gate has a vehicle sensor for when leaving (with code backup - vehicle sensor is currently fried, it will be replaced on the spring when the ground thaws). Steam sauna, grill and fire pit are all located between the guest cabin and my cabin for use by anyone. Towels and/or bathrobes are provided for steam sauna, there is a bucket with wood spoon for water. The temperature knob is on the left and the timer is on the right. The timer has 2 modes, run for 1 hour (you will hear the heater engage) or delayed start then run for 1 hour (if you choose this option, you will hear the heater turn off after engaging, then you will set the dial to your desired delayed start). Hot tub is located on the far side of the greenhouse, opposite the steam sauna. Stairs to enter the hot tub are on the back side. I have 4 XL snow tubes, for everyone from kids to full grown adults (max weight ratings of 350 lbs), and am happy to fill these up prior to your arrival if interested in going sledding / tubing in the back woods (the hills are pretty steeps and look like they could be some gnarly sledding hills). I live in an RV on a neighboring property, with my dogs, so I'll be readily available if you have any questions or issues. As of March-ish 2022, guests will be able to rent either (or both cabins for large groups / events - event fee may apply, depending on the size of your event). I am also more than happy to give a tour of the land - there is a beautiful spot with a bench which is perfect for hiking up with a bottle of wine or a bowl, etc, and enjoying the views, or just hike up and enjoy the views. As of Feb, 2022 this property has also been running as a small farm... as of April, 2023, the small farm will have baby animals (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and pigs) almost all spring & summer, in various stages of life. In the future, the farm will have even more offerings for the Airbnb, like soap, duck eggs, dog treats, bacon and other varieties of farm fresh meats. As of now, farm fresh eggs are available for purchase through the farm (but, eggs are provided 100% free with your stay). Note: when you rent either Mountain Cabin, Mountain House, or both (the other listings) the interior space(s) are solely for you and your guests - it is not shared in any way. Additional note: please be respectful of the other guests while using shared outdoor amenities. In other words, if you all are trying to use the same thing, at the same time, please ask if you may join and respect the other guests wishes - there is only so long anyone is realistically going to use any one amenity - we can all share.
