Cozy Cottage on South Shore. 30 min from Halifax!

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. It is my home that I vacate for guests, and contains some sentimental decorations and items. RYA-2023-24-03271525339628999-1197 The space I love that I am only 30 minutes from the outskirts of Halifax, yet have 14 acres of woodland to relax on. Enjoy quiet evenings by the fire pit in a mosquito controlled area, or float in the pool with a cold beer during the day. Bedroom is sound proofed for long mornings of sleeping in. Guest access During the summer, you will have access to additional fridge in the shed, along with a small washer and clothes line (cold water only). My personal items will be stored in the shed, but there will be additional room to store your empty suit cases etc., since space in the cottage is limited. Use of the fire pit is permitted and wood is provided Except when there is a fire ban in the area due to dry conditions, or high winds. Other things to note ***Please note that my space is not "scent free". We use scented cleaners (fabuloso/bleach/vert2go disinfectant /percel/tide/Lysol). We clean the evening between guests so most of the smells dissipate by the following day, but cannot guarantee the scent will fully dissipate prior to check in.*** Please read the cottage guide upon arrival and contact me with any questions.
