Here, the Creuse breathes and you breathe with it. Warm and lived-in house, where we love to share meals, walks and conversations. Two cozy bedrooms with views of the hamlet and countryside, one with a double bed, the other with a double and single bed. Ideal starting point for exploring lakes, (25 minutes from the most beautiful beaches) forests and granite chaos on the banks of rivers... or simply savor the serenity of the place to rest or come telework in an inspiring setting. The space Anglais 🏡 Accommodation A lively and lived-in house, where we enjoy sharing hospitality. We're in the countryside: the house is clean, but the presence of animals, my time-consuming work, and rural life mean it's never "sanitized." No other animals are allowed in the house. 🚭 Rules We are not a hotel: we welcome guests at modest prices for the pleasure of meeting them. House charter: no racist remarks or any form of discrimination are tolerated. Guest access 🚪 Guest access You will have access to all common areas: 🛋️ living-dining room, 🍳 equipped kitchen, 🚿 bathroom, and 🚻 toilet. The bedrooms 🛏️ are private and assigned according to your choice, indicated before your arrival. 🌿 The large garden is at your disposal: 🌞 sun loungers, 🛋️ outdoor sofas in summer, 🍽️ table for al fresco dining. 🚲 If you have a motorcycle 🏍️ or a bicycle 🚴‍♀️, we can store it in the barn 🔒, which is locked. 🤝 We share some living spaces, in a spirit of hospitality and conviviality 💬✨. During your stay Above all, we welcome guests for the pleasure of meeting people, stories, and humanities ✨. Our rates are low 💶 because we don't want to restrict our guests based on their financial means: we want everyone to be able to discover the Creuse region and come to our house if they wish 🌿. Please think of the people who live here and other travelers 🧹. 📌 Reminder: 🏡 This house is lively, authentic, with its dogs 🐕, its rhythm (we rarely go to bed before midnight 🌙), its books (lots of poetry and essays 📚), and its many imperfections. Other things to note ℹ️ Other information to note 🐕 We live with two large dogs: Azar and Babouchka. They are very friendly: Azar is young and playful, while Babouchka is calmer but a little wary of people who are afraid of her. 💡 I'm mentioning this because I've already hosted guests who were afraid of dogs—which doesn't make for a pleasant stay, not for you, us, or them ☀️. 📅 Bookings for longer stays are possible. 💶 Significant discounts apply to weekly stays, and even more advantageous discounts apply to monthly stays.
