We can not wait to welcome you to our centrally-located Mystic Sunrise home. *You’ll be in the heart of downtown Mystic, located on a side-street, steps to the famous Mystic River Bascule Bridge and Main St. with all-its restaurants, shops, etc. *1 mile to Seaport, ~2 miles from Old Mystic Village, Mystic Aquarium. *Built in 1835 by ship captain John Havens Sawyer and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. * Relax in the charm of an antique home w/modern updates. The space Newly updated, including all 4 bathrooms, 3 full (all with radiant heated floors) and one 1/2 bathroom. *Main floor has 2 living rooms, spacious dining room, kitchen and half bath. *Primary bedroom with king bed and ensuite full bath on 2nd floor. Also contains washer/dryer. *2 bedrooms with queen beds share a full bath, also on the 2nd floor. *4th bedroom has the entire 3rd floor, with attached full bath. 3 twin XL beds total: 2 standard and 1 trundle. ****We have 2 fold out chair/beds that can be set up upon request. This is an extra sleeping option and not included in our 9 guest count. *We are steps to a fenced in children’s park as well as the Mystic River Park. Picnic, walk to Drawbridge Ice cream and watch the bridge lift and lower. *We are walking distance to a large number of restaurants and shops. * We are a block away from this year’s James Beard award winner, and number one voted restaurant in Connecticut, the Shipwright’s daughter! *We provide 10 beach towels, 2 beach blankets, a cooler, umbrella and 4 beach chairs if needed. * Please note, the duvet covers on the beds may change throughout the year. * The awnings on the house, and the lawn furniture will be stored for the season, typically in early November, and placed back in late March, based on the weather. Guest access Entry to the home is through smartphone app [August]. We will send you a text invite to allow access. We have a locked owner’s closet. Door to basement is also locked. We will allow access if needed in an emergency. Other things to note The staircase to the 3rd floor is steep. Not suitable for those with mobility issues. There is a door at the bottom, and a gate at the top to help with safety. Pictures are included in the listing.
