We cannot wait to welcome you to our centrally located Mystic Sunrise home. ⚓️You’ll be in the heart of downtown Mystic, located on a side-street, 1 block from the famous Mystic River Bascule Bridge & Main St. with all-its restaurants & shops. ⚓️1 mile to Seaport, 2 miles from Olde Mistick Village & Aquarium. ⚓️Built in 1835 by ship captain John Havens Sawyer & listed on the National Register of Historic Places. ⚓️Relax in the charm of an antique home with modern updates. The space ⚓️We are walking distance to over 40 restaurants, boutique shops, coffee shops and bars. ⚓️We are a block away from recent James Beard award winner, & number one voted restaurant in Connecticut, the Shipwright’s daughter! ⚓️ Recently updated, including all 4 bathrooms, 3 full & one-half bathrooms (all with radiant heated floors) ⚓️Main floor has 2 living rooms (each with their own smart tv) spacious dining room, kitchen & half bath. ⚓️Primary bedroom with king bed & smart tv, & ensuite full bath on 2nd floor. Also contains washer & dryer. ⚓️2 bedrooms with queen beds share a full bath, also on the 2nd floor. ⚓️4th bedroom has the entire 3rd floor, with attached full bathroom with shower and clawfoot tub. 3 twin XL beds total: 2 standard & 1 trundle. Smart tv on the wall. ⚓️We have 2-fold out chair/beds that can be set up upon request. This is an extra sleeping option & not included in our 9-guest count. ⚓️Our yard is fenced in. We are also steps to a fenced in children’s park as well as the Mystic River Park. Picnic, walk to Drawbridge Ice cream & watch the bridge lift and lower. ⚓️ We have a gravel parking area for 3 small or 2 SUV type vehicles. Free EV charger 🔌 available. ⚓️ The kitchen is well stocked with a blender, lobster pot, storage baggies, storage containers, ice cream scooper, pizza cutter, parchment paper, tinfoil, bamboo and metal skewers, meat thermometer, & most other items you’d expect in a chef’s kitchen. ⚓️We provide 14 beach towels, 2 beach blankets, a cooler, umbrella & 4 beach chairs if needed. ⚓️The awnings on the house, & the lawn furniture will be stored for the season, from November to March. ⚓️This is a perfect spot for wedding groups, girls’ weekends, couples’ weekends & family gatherings. ⚓️Please note, no more than 4 visiting guests at a time & no overnight guests. We do not allow parties at the property. Guest access Entry to the home is through smartphone app [August]. We will send you a text invite to allow access. We have a locked owner’s closet & the basement door is also locked. Other things to note The staircase to the 3rd floor is steep & is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
