The Donon Falcon

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at Col du Donon. The space Cozy and warm apartment located in the heart of the sacred and historic Donon mountain, border between Alsace and Lorraine. Completely renovated with care, for a memorable stay for 2–4 people. THE SPACE The 50 m2 apartment is located on the ground floor of the private residence Le Faucon, at Col du Donon. It includes a bedroom, a kitchen open to the living room, a bathroom, a toilet, a small balcony and a veranda. 4 possible beds with 1 adult bed for 2 people (140 x 200) in the bedroom and 1 sofa bed (140 x 200) in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, ceramic hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso capsule machine, kettle, toaster, piston coffee maker, raclette machine, dishes and cooking utensils... The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, towels and shower gel, and is also equipped with a washing machine. The living room gives access to a small balcony, overlooking a green area and the entrance to the residence. A corner dedicated to teleworking is set up and you will have access to free Wi-Fi, simply scan the QR code. TV and a hi-fi system with Bluetooth connection are also available. The charming room, gives access to a veranda specially arranged in a spirit of relaxation, where you can read, meditate, do yoga or other exercises. You will find mats and other sports equipment to relax, as well as a stereo with Bluetooth connection, to follow your sports classes online or simply listen to music. At your arrival the beds are made and towels are provided. In the living room, you will find brochures containing information about our beautiful region and ideas for outings and activities, so you can fully enjoy your stay. THE RESIDENCE In the backyard of the residence, you will find a garden with a pond and you have free access, as well as a free parking space (not reserved). LOCATION The Col du Donon connects the towns of Schirmeck (10 km southeast), Raon-l'Étape (29 km southwest), Abreschviller (24 km north) and Sarrebourg (40 km northeast). Strasbourg is a 50-minute drive, Obernai is 40 minutes and Colmar is 60 minutes. ACCESS: Car access: From Schirmeck, head towards Grandfontaine/Donon via the D392. Train access: Line: Strasbourg/Epinal. Stop: Schirmeck/La Broque (9 km).
