Our house offers hospitality and comfort for tourists, students and professionals. The room is part of a chalet at the back of the inner courtyard garden of the house. Hot water in mornings, evenings and on request. There is Wi-Fi and cable internet in the common room. We offer breakfast in the dining room, at an additional price of 18 soles. The space Your own room is on the first floor and is completely private, located in a chalet at the rear of the inner courtyard garden. A skylight in the ceiling provides pleasant daylight and comfort for working at your desk. On the first floor (10 meters walk), there is a bathroom exclusively for guests, and on the second floor, there is another bathroom for guests only. Next is the access door to the common room, where guests can prepare their own meals at any time and meet each other. The breakfast room is on the first floor, just 10 meters from your door. We will be happy to prepare breakfast for you (at a cost of 18 soles), usually at 8:30 a.m., but if you wish, we can have it ready between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. Please let us know the evening before or during breakfast for the following day. On Sundays, guests organize their breakfast themselves, as we usually have it that day in the city centre. You can work comfortably with your laptop in your room, such as in the common room on the second floor, or at the garden table with an umbrella. Next to this room is another less spacious but equally well-lit room: Comfortable garden room (for one person, one and a half bed). Guest access In addition to your own bedroom and common room for guests with a kitchen, you will have free access to the patio with garden and the terrace on the roof of the kitchen. The terrace can be used to quickly dry your clothes (we offer the service of a washing machine, at a cost of 10 soles). It is also a sunny place for a pleasant break. All guests are given keys to the main entrance door and their room door, so they can come and go freely at any time. Between 22:00 and 8:00 guests are expected to keep noise to a minimum. Other things to note Within Cusco, the neighbourhood of San Borja has a good microclimate where cold and windy weather is rare. Cusco can be quite cool from April to September and cold during the night and early morning. However, your room has a comfortable temperature and if necessary, as might happen on some days in June or July, we can put an electric heater in your room, at an additional cost of 6 soles per night (electricity is very expensive in Cusco). We also offer free of charge a hot water bottle in your bed, helping to warm your feet. In fact, during the day and thanks to the sky windows in the ceiling, good heat is stored in the room. Some people need not one but a couple of days to fully adapt to the altitude (3400 meters above sea level). For this reason, coca tea, anti-snoring pills and light meals are always available upon request.
