Egret Lodge is a bright, glass-fronted retreat where you feel that “and breathe out” moment as soon as you walk in. Vast uninterrupted lake and woodland views, three en-suite bedrooms and a calm open-plan living space make it ideal for everyone. Days blur between the hot tub, the kitchen and the lake itself, and evenings settle into that easy rhythm as everyone drifts back together for sunset. 2 bedrooms are kingsize and the third bedroom can either be 2 singles or a third kingsize The space Egret Lodge sleeps up to six guests across three stylish en-suite bedrooms. The glass-fronted living space brings the lake and woodland right into the room, with an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area designed for relaxed group time. Huge windows keep the interior bright all day, and there’s fast Wi-Fi, a smart TV and plenty of space to unwind. Outside, a gated wrap-around deck creates a safe space for dogs and little ones, with a premium Hot Springs hot tub positioned for uninterrupted sunset views. There’s also outdoor dining and a charcoal BBQ for easy alfresco evenings by the water. Guest access You’ll have full private use of the lodge, the enclosed lakefront deck, the hot tub, outdoor dining area and BBQ. The lodge has direct access to the water via a pontoon on the side, and there are two private parking spaces directly outside. You’ll also have use of our kayak, and full access to the private Waters Edge estate during your stay. Other things to note We’re dog-friendly and welcome up to two dogs for which a charge will apply (a third may be possible on request). A high chair and travel cot are available at no extra cost, and we can help with light decoration touches for birthdays, proposals or other occasions. Open-water swimming is permitted and is one of the highlights of staying here. Swimming is at guests’ own risk and requires a signed waiver before arrival. Paddleboard hire is available, and with easy lake access, it’s perfect for slow mornings on the water or sunset paddles. The lodge sits within the private, gated Waters Edge estate, a peaceful place designed for relaxed breaks rather than large or noisy gatherings.
