The space HOTEL & BUNGALOWS WITH A RUSTIC/COLONIAL CHARACTER — IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE BOOKING. Our hotel, cottages and bungalows are designed with a rustic and authentic aesthetic. The property is over 30 years old and combines natural materials and finishes that reflect their vintage character. This is INTENTIONAL and part of the experience we offer. ROOM FLOORS: Vitroceramic tile that is 30+ years old. They are FULLY CLEAN and Well maintained. It's normal for them to have small chips. or micro-cracks on the edges of parts or discoloration due to the passage of time, are not dirt, are not food or beverage stains, but are wear and tear. This does not affect security or functionality. ROOMS WITH TERRACE AND PLANTER. The terraces are swept daily, however, due to the wind and the coastal breeze, leaves can fall off at any time and sometimes in large quantities. The fact that the room has leaves on its terrace does not constitute dirt and cannot be considered a reason for cancellation. POOL AREA AND LINING: The cladding is Venetian-style Vitroaseo. Because of the exposure constant exposure to chlorine, heat and normal use, it is common for some pieces have occasional peeling. This is aesthetic; it doesn't affect security. The parts are replaced regularly. Likewise, the pool is vacuumed and cleaned daily from 8 to 9 am. Since our pool is in a 2,000 m2 landscaped area with all kinds of vegetation, including mature palm trees, coconut trees, and other species with lots of flowers, it is normal for leaves to fall into the water during the day. We try to remove them constantly, but strong winds or rain make it impossible to keep the surface or bottom 100% free of vegetation. The pool is not dirty; it just has leaves. AIR CONDITIONING. All our rooms have A/C. The air conditioners have the capacity, in normal operation, to maintain a stable temperature of at least 24 degrees Celsius even on the hottest days. This temperature is considered standard in the hotel industry and is sufficient for the vast majority of people. If you require air conditioning at a lower temperature, we are probably not the right choice. If our rooms maintain a stable temperature of 24 degrees, you cannot request a cancellation or refund due to lack of cooling. We have thermometers to check the temperature. RUSTIC WOOD FINISHES: There are rustic wood finishes around the pool area natural that are decorative and part of the design. The wood is kept natural to preserve the authentic character of the bungalows. They are not "unfinished" — it is the property's design philosophy. CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT: Precisely because of the building's age and our commitment to constant improvement, we have a maintenance crew that performs improvement work on all the facilities. We try to minimize the inconvenience by working only from 10 am to 5 pm and, as much as possible, keeping the materials and workers out of sight and/or contact with the guests. Outside these hours, there is no type of construction or repair.
