This is a 'farm' house located at the quiet fishing village of El Jobo, a renowned kitesurfing destination in the northwest corner of Guanacaste, near the Nicaragua border. A simple yet open house that boasts a stunning rooftop, ocean-view rooms, and a welcoming pool. Enjoy a semi-private beach and 1.8 km of walking trails. Rajada, Rajadita, and Jobo beaches are just 1 km away, making it one of Costa Rica's most secluded beach destinations. The space This house is located on a large farm property within a National Reserved and Protected Area on the outskirts of Costa Rica, near the border with Nicaragua, and it is nestled within a natural reserve of Costa Rica. We are part of a big "farm", and the house was built to host an ocean view but it is not a luxurious house. Because of the location in a National - Protected and Reserved area, the place can be very exotic, but it's fair for you to be aware that the house does not has all unpaved roads and there may be wild animals during walks on the property! We suggest you always bring a car to move around. The northern part of the country can also be very dry, and this year we have experienced warmer temperatures than ever before. We have AC in all rooms but not in the main areas, such as the living room and kitchen. Our main interest is to preserve the natural environment; we kindly ask for your cooperation in conserving our precious water resources. Guest access Don Francisco will be there to greet you when you arrive and provide you with the keys and any other detail. Other things to note Our cleaning lady works diligently from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. She's not an experienced cook or chef but maintains the cleanliness of our home. Any additional cleaning hours required beyond this time will need to be compensated separately. She is not a cook or chef, we recommend to hire a professional chef ahead of time, if desired.
