Welcome to Ivy cottage, set in a small hamlet on the southern edge of the Snowdonia national park, surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation. Complimentry continental breakfast , and use of our spa is included. A place to take time, explore and make memories, then at the end of the day, enjoy our relaxing spa. We share our house with two friendly samoyed dogs, who give a great welcome, as well as two fine cats. So please be an animal lover. We are near plane spotting sites. The space Ivy cottage is a relaxed place, and we try to keep rules to a minimum. Our nearest pub is closing for refurbishment at end of March. However there are a couple more a short drive from here. If you let us know before hand you are welcome to use our kitchen . The bedroom offers a super king size bed, guests have said it is very comfortable. However if you prefer single beds this can be changed to two singles, prior notice please as I have to find the screwdriver.The room has its own private wc, shower and basin. There is a very small single room available at an extra charge, please contact me directly. You are free to wonder our land, sit by the stream, bird watch, or just be. If you liked Top Gun the movie, then you will enjoy the mach loop daytime flybys, which happen occationally. There is a pheasant shoot at the bottom of the lane if that's your bag. Plenty of sheep, cows, pheasants, bats, streams and tractors as you would expect. Also, don't forget to breathe. Our air is always excellent. Guest access You are welcome to use the lounge, dining room, decking, porch, spa( prior notice please). Gardens or wonder our 10 acres of fields. It may be muddy so bring wellingtons. (all areas used at your own risk). Our animals share the shared spaces, they are all friendly and just want to say hello. The house can be accessed by the front door, after 11 if we are not up please use the upstairs back door. During your stay If you would like to ask any questions, please text me, and I will try to help. I like to chat as we don't get many opportunities for that kinda thing. Saying that we are fully awair that some will want their own space. You take the lead on how much, I understand. Other things to note You will need a car as there are no buses or trains nearby. We have a very small room available at the side of the larger room which can be booked by prior arrangement, please contact us directly for details on price, this room is only available to your party. Animal lovers are most welcome. you will come across both cats and dogs, all friendly but fluffy. You will need a torch to walk to pub as there is no street lighting. Please note that our nearest pub the Brigans inn will closed end of March for refurbishments, they say should re open in September. Your room is only several meters from our stream, therefore there is a constant sound of water .
