Is this property running like a hotel and guests are checking into one of the rooms? A; We operate traditional hotels as well as normal AIRBNBS. This specific room is more like a studio Airbnb than a traditional hotel. We operate a traditional hotel next door that allows us to offer the amenities to guests such as coffee, popcorn, pool, lemon water, exercise room, full time maintenance staff, on site cleansers, and on site “house person” for assistance from that facility. We also operate larger ocean front Airbnbs across the street. We’ve run airbnbs since 2016 and we’ve found this set up to work well for owners and guests. The pool is heated from March through November. Other things to note Free Continental Breakfast from 7:30am-10am Pets are subject to owner approval and may or may not be approved. If they are approved a pet fee applies. Please inquire with breed, age, and weight of your pet prior to booking. No Cats Allowed. A $35 Parking Fee plus taxes per night/per vehicle will be collected at time of check in. The pool is heated from March through November. This unit requires the use of stairs to access. If you need a room or rental accessible without stairs, 14 West Hotel room 51-76 in the south building and villa Rustico and D'Stella at the Retrest have no stairs. Cancellation policy and procedures Our goal is to keep our prices as competitive as possible, in order to keep them competitive it's important that we avoid the losses that come from cancellations. Owners of these properties depend on the income and last-minute cancellations result in lost revenue through vacancy and lower prices. For those that don't like the risk that comes with cancellation policies, we strongly recommend you look into travel insurance. We can recommend one for you. If you didn't purchase the travel insurance offered by the booking channel, or the one we recommend, you will likely not get any refund. To ask for an exception to our policy you must first cancel through the booking channel. Exceptions are up to individual owners and are very rare. Your best chance is to ask for a credit to be used for a booking for the same property. The credit can to be used within the window you cancelled. Ie. If you cancel 3 days before your stay and the owners payout is $4500, you didn't purchase travel insurance you may ask for a credit to be used to reserve the same property no more than 3 days before the drag you want to use the credit for. Example request. "I had to cancel because my kids are sick. I didn't purchase the recommended travel insurance. My stay is 3 days away. I'm requesting a credit for the owner payout amount to be used to reserve the same property 3 days before our stay. I.e, we want to stay August 23rd so I will make a request on August 20th if the unit is still available. Thanks." We will share this with the owner and encourage them to allow us to agree.
