Description
We bought these beautiful 11.5 acres in 2017 and lived in this luxury 42 ft “glamper” while we built our tiny farmhouse. Now that the house is finished we offer the camper as a space for you! Staying with us, you will be close enough to town to attend all the fun events but have the option to feel totally removed from the city & enjoy every star in the night sky. We are a working farm & love sharing our little piece of heaven so come enjoy all that Currie Hill Farm and Tallahassee has to offer! The space Beside this beautiful 2017 fifth wheel RV we do have our tiny farmhouse that we live in full time; we do still use the RV occasionally for our own vacations so there are personal effects in both spaces! We also have tons of space for tent camping on the farm property so please feel free to bring a tent and some sleeping bags if you or the kiddos all want to spend a night snuggled up under the stars! You are welcome to say hello to our animals if you want some interaction, or just sit and relax overlooking our lush green pastures and enjoy a soft breeze from just off the hill. Only minutes from our farm is hiking, canoeing, kayaking, gulf beaches, our State Capitol, FSU/FAMU, a fun midtown & downtown night life, museums, shopping and many more activities! *Please note that in light of the Covid-19 pandemic we will be fully conscious of social distancing, mask wearing and so on while you stay with us. We also have a sweet and eager 6 year old daughter who loves to "play host" and show our guests all her favorite spots on the farm. If you would like to limit our interaction beyond recommended social distancing please let me know before arrival so that I can explain this to my daughter and keep her and the more friendly animals "reigned in." Guest access You are welcome to enjoy our property while you are a guest with us. We will be staying in the tiny house on the farm across the way and are usually available for questions throughout the day. You can wander around the farm and say hello to the animals at your own risk, I only ask that you please re-latch and close gates as you go through them and please do not feed the animals anything aside from designated feed, hay and pasture grasses. We set up a lovely tent camping space & fire pit in the yard where guests can enjoy a campfire during the cooler evenings! Some firewood will be kept on hand but we encourage you to pick a bundle up at a local grocery shop or vendor if you plan on more than one night of bonfire! Other things to note *** BEFORE BOOKING! *** We have always taken every precaution we possibly can to offer you a safe and positive experience on our farm while you stay with us. We currently adhere to all recommendations and honor all restrictions set by our State/County during the Covid-19 pandemic, including the enforcement of wearing masks when open air or social distancing is not possible, accelerated cleaning practices and reservation spacing so that your safety and ours is always considered. If you or anyone in your reservation is sick at the time of your booking or if you are high risk for contracting viruses we do not recommend visiting. We have temporarily changed our cancellation policy to "Flexible" to allow for guests ease of cancellation in light of illness or uncertainty so please take advantage of this and be smart and safe regarding your travels. Please be prepared to abide by strict rules regarding proper use of facilities/appliances in the RV as it is important to keep it functioning properly during your stay; we are always eager to teach inexperienced RV goers the lay of the land, so please do not be shy with questions! Also we are a WORKING FARM! We raise many different species of domestic livestock and while we try hard to make the farm pleasant for guests, we cannot control a rooster crowing or dog barking—they are simply doing their jobs! If you are a light sleeper we do recommend you bring ear plugs/noise cancelling headphones just in case. Also, if you are highly allergic to or scared of animals we are not the listing for you! On the other hand, we do not allow unauthorized pets on the farm for many reasons, so please consider these factors before booking with us! We will not access inside the camper living space during your stay without your permission and invitation, but we do store some equipment and tools in our “garage” compartments under the camper that is utilized occasionally. Guests are allowed to use the washer/dryer (which are located in the house garage) by appointment and for a small fee as indicated in the amenities section of the full house guide. Thank you!
