This studio cabin originally built in 1939 is completely and beautifully remodeled- complete with a brand new fully-stocked kitchen, flooring, Queen bed, Smart TV, walk-in glass shower and live-edge oak bar counter. Cabin #16 "Sheriff" is located at the back of the Ponderosa Lodge property, overlooking I-70, Hwy 6 and Red Mountain. Fully stocked with a fridge, full size oven, microwave, coffee maker (coffee, tea, creamer, sugar), utensils, settings for 2 The space *This is NOT a pet-friendly cabin! Please check with us for pet-friendly cabins! This awesome cabin has been remodeled and has a fresh twist on an old cabin. We call our style "Rustic Luxury". There is a small kitchen, full gas stove/oven with cooking essentials, small refrigerator, coffee maker and coffee/tea, plates, cups and bowls for TWO, and a small dining area on a refurbished piano top! Also, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and A/C. There is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. *Please NOTE: NO PETS ALLOWED IN THIS CABIN (please contact us for pet-friendly rentals!) Guest access SHARED AREAS: Guest Coin Laundry room (next to Cabin 11) is a shared space, and there is a grassy outdoor firepit area that is also a shared common area. If you use the fire pit (guests must supply their own wood), DO NOT leave the fire unattended! ABSOLUTELY ensure the fire is completely OUT before vacating the area. BBQ/Picnic Area: Please notify the owners if you notice the propane is getting low. And please, as a courtesy to others, leave the BBQ and picnic area CLEAN! Other things to note TEMPERATURE: The thermostat is on the wall behind the TV, to the left. When you adjust the temperature warmer, it will automatically turn on the furnace heater (which is to the right of the television, large metal grate from the floor to the ceiling). There is an overhead fan in the living room area, and an A/C unit on the far back wall, to the right of the sliding glass doors - if you need to cool down:-) TRASH: If you have extra trash, there is a dumpster in the center of the property, right next to the driveway (you passed it on the way to your cabin). :-) LAUNDRY: There is a guest coin-operated Laundry Cabin available 24/7. It is located a few cabins down from the dumpster, in the center of the property. The entrance of the Laundry Cabin faces the front of the property (faces Hwy 6) and has a few concrete steps up to the concrete pad in front of the cabin. You will need your own detergent and coins.
