Our home in Columbus near OSU!

Entire two story home to rent when we are away. Close to OSU on a nice side street with fenced in backyard and close to tons of great restaurants and entertainment! The space Our home is a 2-story house in Old North Columbus near Ohio State campus. Enjoy a great bedroom and private access to the entire rest of the house except the host's bedroom, as we post this listing for our entire place when we will be away. The bedroom features a lofted full bed with a very comfortable memory foam mattress. The room also features two comfortable armchairs, and a table that can function as a workspace, or dining area for guests. The room gets great natural light and has beautiful hardwood floors, as does the rest of the house. If additional bedding is desired for multiple guests, a queen-sized air mattress can be brought in, or guests can sleep on the couch (or potentially floor if they're open to that). Feel free to use anything in the kitchen, which is well-stocked with mostly anything you would need to cook whatever you like. The house also has a spacious living room with comfortable seating, a spacious bathroom, and a separate office guests are free to use. The house features a lovely and sizable screened in front porch with ample seating and a table, making it a perfect location to enjoy coffee, a meal, a book, or a drink when the weather cooperates. We also have a nice back yard and a 2 car garage plus third off-street parking spot. If necessary (such as visiting on an OSU game day), one of these spots can be saved for guests, but usually there is plenty of street parking. Also, some larger vehicles may not fit in our off-street spots. We have an unfinished basement with laundry that guests may use if needed. The house is on a very quiet dead-end street with little traffic, but is just off main roads and near highways that offer easy access to Ohio State, downtown Columbus, and anywhere else in the city you may want to go. A railroad track is at the end of the dead-end, which is audible but not loud outside the house when trains go by, and barely audible from inside the house. We have never been bothered by it at all, nor have any of our guests, but be aware if you're a particularly light sleeper. Any sound from it would be drowned out by a fan if it's a concern. Plenty of excellent bars and restaurants are nearby, and there is plenty to do in a short driving distance. Plan on a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Columbus with us! Guest access The whole house except host bedroom is available and exclusively at your disposal as we will be away. Other things to note We have a dog, Luca, but he will likely be out of town with us if we are gone and renting the place, so you won't have any special instructions and sadly won't get to meet him most likely, but do note this for allergy purposes.
