RV Interstellar Hideout @ Mt. Rainier
RV Interstellar Hideout @ Mt. Rainier
Description
Beat the traffic to the park, save hours! We are 0.4 miles from the entrance! In summer cars line up for miles, wait lasts hours. Experience WA’s wilderness in an elegant and comfortable 2018 30Ft RV, nestled on 3 acres of evergreen beauty. With a total of 5 beds (1Q, 4F) it can accommodate up to 8, but we don’t recommend it for more than 4 adults! Whether you're cozying up inside with wine and a board game, grill or unwind by the firepit under a canopy of stars, this is the ultimate retreat. The space Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare your meals, including a three-burner stove with oven, fridge/freezer combo, microwave oven, coffee maker and an espresso machine, toaster, kettle, cutting board, silverware, utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, pots and pans and a sink. We provide coffee, sugar, creamer and some beverages. We have a Ninja Foodi air fryer available per request - please ask us! Bathroom: The bathroom includes a sink and a toilet, with a separate in tub shower with hot water. Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and soap are supplied, along with towels. Sleeping Arrangements: The bedroom boasts a queen-sized memory foam mattress adorned with high quality soft sheets. The second bedroom area has 2 Full bunk beds, also equipped with soft linens. Additionally, the main area has a convertible sofa bed to accommodate extra guests. Climate Control: Stay comfortable regardless of the weather with heat or air conditioning. The thermostat is on the wall between the fridge and the closet. To turn heat on push the on/off button until you see Furnace/3 steam like lines. A fan sign will turn on the fan and for AC- there is a snowflake. Please know, it takes up to 20 seconds for the heat or AC to start or to stop once you press the button. Outdoor Amenities: Outside you could find a bench with table, a hammock for 2 and a propane barbecue available for outdoor cooking all year round. A Solo Stove fire pit fire is permitted when the total fire ban is not in effect. Please verify fire regulations for Pierce County before your stay or ask us! During the total ban (Jul- September) by law, fires are not allowed outside/in the Solo Stove. Fines are $1500 and you will be fully responsible for the consequences and paying the fine if you do start a fire. Please bring your own wood or purchase a bundle on our property for $6. Please don’t use wood you find on the property as most of it is new/wet and either it won’t burn or it will create a lot of smoke which is not pleasant. There is plenty of kindling on the property and you are welcome to use it. Additional Information This is a strictly non-smoking property! No vaping or smoking of ANY kind inside the RV. Please note you will see other RVs on the property, but only 1 other for rent on Airbnb. Owner lives on site and so do 3 friendly little dogs with big mouths but only for talking, never for biting! Please be aware that this area includes both residential homes and vacation rentals so keeping quiet hours is mandatory between 9:00PM and 9:00AM. Starlink Wi-Fi is available but could at times be unreliable due to our proximity to the mountain and the tall trees that get in the way. Cell service is generally unreliable. There is a security camera facing the driveway for safety purposes. We do experience power outages, often times because of down trees over power lines due to weather/storms or car accidents. These are unpredictable and out of our control. The RV is equipped with internal batteries which activate automatically when power is lost, ensuring everything continues to function smoothly, however the microwave and outlets will not function during this time. Location and Activities The Nisqually Entrance to Mount Rainier National Park is less than half a mile away from the property. Paradise is about a 25 minutes drive from the entrance to the park. The park is open year-round. Activities such as hiking, climbing, fishing, and swimming are abundant in the area. Besides Mount Rainier, the area offers waterfalls, alpine lakes, and lush forests along with opportunities to see diverse wildlife, including elk, deer, mountain goats, and various bird species. Beautiful turquoise Alder lake and Mineral lake are both within 13-20 minutes drive. Heading to the lake? We offer inflatable paddle boards for rent, $15/hr or $45 per day. We provide a pump and battery with any rental. Ashford is primarily a small, scenic town that caters to outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, and travelers seeking to explore Mount Rainier. Its charm lies in its natural beauty, outdoor activities, and role as a welcoming gateway to one of Washington’s most iconic national parks. It offers a handful of restaurants, an art gallery, and a small general store. We recommend stocking up on groceries before arrival, as options in Ashford or nearby towns are quite limited. Please make arrangements for dinner in advance as everything closes early. Be sure to bring your preferred spirits, as only beer and wine are available locally. Prefer organic? Frey Family Farm has a little store open from May to Oct, Tue-Sun 10-5. Please let us know if you'd like any services like: birthday banner, flower arrangement ($), champagne ($) etc. Available with advance notice only! ANIMALS Please note there are domestic animals present on the adjacent property that could be loud at times (ie chickens, peacocks, goats). We provided you with a white noise machine and there are earplugs in the bathroom cabinet, should you need any. Please know wild animals have been spotted on the property or nearby (Elk, deer, coyotes and raccoons). Although they are usually shy, please exercise caution especially at night. If you have small dogs, never leave them unattended outside. Please never leave a dog alone in the RV for any period of time! Please ask us if you need a babysitter or a dog sitter! We have 3 very small friendly dogs (with big mouths!) who love to escape and say hi. They do not bite but love to “talk”. Bringing a furry family member? Please let us know if they’re friendly or not. We ALWAYS love to make new friends (if you don’t mind crazy energy!) or we will happily plan on keeping our distance otherwise. Guest access You are welcome to explore around but please do not trespass onto neighboring properties. Please also respect our neighbors and follow our rule about quiet hours between 9pm-9am! Parties, excessive noise, smoking or drugs will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave immediately. There are 3 other RVs on the property. Only one other small camper is used as an airbnb, one is empty and one occupied by owner who lives on site. Each RV has its own space, not shared with other guests. Please park next to the RV/camper you booked- don’t worry about blocking any cars! Please do not enter any other RV on the property except the one you booked. Other things to note Heading to the lake? We offer inflatable paddle boards for rent, $15/hr or $45 per day. We provide a pump and battery with any rental. Lake Alder and lake Mineral are each about 15-20 minutes away.
