This is a dry RV/Motor home campsite situated off of scenic Route 33, just 3 miles from Victor, Idaho and Driggs, ID in either direction - only 18 miles from Jackson Hole, Wy. It sits at an elevation of 5,200 feet with views of The Grand Teton Mountain Range. Visitors enjoy fishing, exploring local trails, and sightseeing. With reportedly the best location worldwide to view the solar eclipse, you'll want to book your space soon. SITE OPTIONS AVAILABLE: • $250 dry RV camping The space Camping with us gives you direct access to both towns, is walking distance to the bike pathways, and public trailheads, and is uniquely positioned for viewing the eclipse. A dry site means no water, electric, or fire pit. Natural Features: The campground is a short 5 minute drive from 100's of surrounding trailheads, among forests of Douglas fir and lodgepole pine. The rigid cliffs of The Tetons create a stark and beautiful contrast against the meadows below that host a variety of wildlife including moose and deer. Summer wildflowers are abundant. Recreation: Mountain biking, horseback riding, and ATVing are popular modes of transportation. While hiking, fishing for Yellowstone cutthroat and brook trout, bird watching, and exploring the surrounding towns are great ways to pass the time. Facilities: The campground is made up of single-family sites allowing up to 4 persons, with an additional charge of $10 per person per night up to a total of 6 persons. This is a self contained site. No open fires are permitted. No sewage dumping. Adhere to local laws. Roads and parking spurs are gravel and relatively level. For the weekend of the solar eclipse check-in is from 6PM to 9PM and check-out is at 3PM. Nearby Attractions: Popular activities in the area include: the Music on Main concert series every Thursday night June-August in Victor, ID; The hot air balloon festival; each surrounding towns' rodeo and farmer's markets; whitewater rafting; The Spud Drive-In movie theater; the world famous huckleberry shakes at the Victor Emporium; The Bar J Chuckwagon Dinner Theater; Pierre's Playhouse; The Teton Village Tram ride, etc. Not to mention each ski resort in the area hosts free live music concerts weekly throughout the summer. The resorts also offer lift-served hiking and mountain biking, scenic lift rides, guided horseback riding, a climbing wall and an 18-hole disc golf course. With each nearby town possessing its own western charm it's impossible not to fall in love. Grand Teton National Park's Granite Entrance is 21 miles away; Jackson, Wyoming is 18 miles away. The largest grocery stores in all 3 nearby towns of Victor, Driggs, and Jackson will NOT be open on August 20. There are only 2 other small boutique grocery stores in our Valley.
