Renovated Mediterranean Bungalow

Recently restored 1920’s bungalow is your Mediterranean retreat on a quiet street within easy access of the Berkeley campus, downtown, and the BART metro. MINIMUM STAY IS 30 DAYS, longer stays are preferred. Please do not ask about shorter stays; we cannot accommodate them. The space The Master Bedroom hosts a queen bed with down comforter and antique dresser. The second bedroom has two single beds well adapted to children, along with a third 'trundle' bed. Both bedrooms have cedar closets. The clean tiled bathroom offers a spacious shower, upscale fixtures and fully stocked towels and linens. A fully-equipped, spacious kitchen celebrates the joy of cooking with warm cypress countertops, gas range, high-quality cookware, and European pottery. Breakfast in the cozy, sunlit nook adjacent to wide patio doors, entertain in the formal dining room, or relax on the deck with built-in seating and both gas and charcoal grills. The famous grocery mecca, the Berkeley Bowl, is just around the corner and can supply you with an amazing array of fresh vegetables, meats, fish and wine. Relax on the sunny front patio where scents of jasmine and lavender surround you. Or enjoy the kitchen’s generous deck, table and benches for relaxing with drinks or a full-on barbecue. Secured by an eight-foot fence, the backyard is your private sanctuary. Beyond the recently-redesigned garden is a beautiful house retained by the family for their possessions, etc. You are welcome to enjoy the lawn, flagstone paths, benches, trees and flowers. Also in the garden is a small cottage that can serve as an additional bedroom. Guest access The entire house is available for your use. Other things to note Minimum stay is 30 days.
