One Bedroom Apt in Ocean Beach near the beach

This remodeled unit is walking distance to the Dog Beach, the regular beach, Robb Field and Newport Street which has great restaurants and nightlife. Unit has new cabinets, granite counter-tops, Stainless Steel appliances, new carpet, and Travertine tile. Easy access to the 5 and 8 freeways. I like things to be comfortable, so there are lots of amenities like hooks, curtains, various lighting options, and a white noise machine. Please let me know if you have any questions! Guest access There is off-street parking behind the building on a first-come first-serve basis. However, it is currently being used to hold renovation supplies, so I don't know when it will be available for tenant parking again. There is a decent amount of free street parking. Just be sure to pay attention to the signs so you don't get a ticket. The building has a coin-operated washer and dryer. Ask me for the code. If you need quarters, I would recommend getting them from the car wash on Bacon St and Voltaire St. Other things to note The complex is currently renovating the outside portion of the property. It should be completed by mid July, but no guarantees. There will be some outside noise during the weekdays, and the off-street parking may not be available during this time. Some of the neighbors in the building can be loud at night. You can hear much of the noise while sitting in the living room, but the bedroom is fairly quiet as long as you close the door and turn on the white noise machine or fan while you sleep. It is in the back and it's insulated with carpet, but you might want to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Pets are allowed with an additional $300 fully-refundable pet deposit. The carpet was replaced 6 months ago, so this will be strictly enforced. I'd recommend not letting your furry friend in the bedroom (where the carpet is) if they aren't 100% potty trained. I have a device that shows pet urine, and I will be inspecting the carpet thoroughly upon departure. If you plan to take your dog to the Dog Beach, I can give you more info on where to wash them afterwards. There is nowhere on the property to do so (unless they are small enough to be washed in the kitchen sink) but there are two dog washes nearby. One is a free do-it-yourself at Ocean Villa Inn, and the other is a paid service at Ocean Beach Dog Wash on Voltaire St.
