Andy's Sunrise Suite over Lake Union
Andy's Sunrise Suite over Lake Union
Description
Watch all the marine activity on this amazing lake with a 180 degree unobstructed view from the private balcony. ⛵️🛶🚁🚢 The space ❤️ My door is open to all races, religions, genders, and orientations.❤️ My home is a cozy, top-floor, East-facing, 1 bedroom (w/ 2 queen beds) apartment in an older building overlooking the lake. It's comfortable, clean, and quiet. It has a huge balcony with an even bigger view. Lake Union is an amazing urban lake. Rowing crews practice at dawn. Sea-planes take off in sets of 7. Sailboats tack and jibe around mega-yachts and commercial ships. Paddle boarders and kayakers balance on their wakes. See it all from your bed and balcony. Guest access Kitchen: Stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils and cookbooks to whip up breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, there's plenty of salt, pepper, EVOO, condiments, butter, spices, and the basics. Don'tcha hate Airbnbs w/ stripped kitchens? Me too. Also, waffle iron, Ninja blender, pour-over coffee (local beans too)! ☕️ Beds: 2 queen beds. 1 in the living room, studio style, because there's nothing like a Seattle sunrise. The other in the bedroom (for those who like to sleep in). Each has 2 firm pillows and 2 softer pillows. Parking: Dedicated, uncovered, easy-access parking that can fit anything from a couple of Harleys to a house on wheels (small RV). Balcony: It's just so big! Get your sunrise yoga on, lounge on the love seat or eat sunset dinner at the table for two. Laundry: 2 sets of machines on the ground floor. $1.50 for wash + dry each. Detergent and dryer sheets here for ya. Bathroom: Fresh towels, wash cloths, tub, shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, shaving cream, hair dryer, razors, spare tooth brushes/paste, mouth wash, ibuprofen, et al. Workspace: Includes a monitor with a Mini DisplayPort, Wifi, iPhone charger and Apple keyboard. Plug in and WFH or NFB (Netflix from bed). Building and Accessibility: It's an older quirky building. 3 short flights of stairs (10 steps each) to get to my floor. Seattle is built on hills; if you're walking, be prepared for some inclines. The nearest bus stop is a block uphill. Make it yours: Is there something you're looking for that would make your stay amazing? Let me know and I'll have it ready for you! Other things to note A few things that my home DOES NOT have: -Microwave -TV -Stereo -Dishwasher -Black-out curtains Instead, I DO have: -A killer toaster oven (and full kitchen -Books -Dish Rack -Blinds
