The space The Vibe: A contemporary mountain retreat inspired by mid-century chalets. Cherished and impeccably maintained by our family for over 50 years, this mountainside getaway offers the perfect balance of open gathering spaces and quiet, private retreats. Oversized windows fill every room with natural light. Crack them open to enjoy the mountain breeze and listen to the relaxing sounds of the babbling brook right in our backyard. Main Level: The Gathering Place Step inside to discover a spacious, open-concept great room anchored by vaulted ceilings and a striking floor-to-ceiling natural stone chimney. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen features brand-new stainless steel appliances and flows seamlessly into the living area, where an oversized sectional and an electric fireplace display await. Slide open the glass doors to step out onto your private, tree-lined deck (complete with a gas grill) or unwind in the attached three-season sunroom. For your convenience, the primary bedroom and a 3/4 bath with a shower are located on this main floor. Lower Level: Cozy and Private Head downstairs to find the perfect secondary hangout space. Two additional private bedrooms are separated by a cozy sitting area equipped with a warming pellet stove and a Roku TV. This floor also includes a full bathroom with a tub, and one of the bedrooms features a convenient walkout directly to the side yard. It provides the perfect soothing soundtrack for your stay. Inside the Home: Enjoy full access to a layout purposely designed for effortless gathering. The main level acts as a natural hub for your group, while the bedrooms are spread out to give everyone their own quiet retreat (no cramped bunk-house feel here!). Quiet Community: We are nestled in a peaceful, private residential neighborhood shared by full-time locals and vacationers. We ask that guests respect the tranquil vibe of the mountain and keep outdoor noise to a minimum. Garage Access: Please note that the detached garage is reserved for owner storage and is not accessible to guests. Plenty of exterior parking for up to three cars is available. Other things to note Minimum age requirement to book is 28 years old. The Brook: Please use caution if attempting to walk down to the brook. The embankment is steep and covered with natural ground cover; access is at your own risk. Fire Policy: No wood fires of any kind are permitted on the property. Please only use the provided pellets for the downstairs stove, and enjoy the electric display fireplace upstairs. Pet Policy: No pets are allowed on the property without prior permission. Property Care & Damages: During your stay, you are solely responsible for the home and its moveable contents. Guests must take care to avoid damage and losses. You must declare any damage or loss that may have occurred during your stay immediately, or prior to vacating the property.
