Beautifully decorated with a modern touch, this 1 bedroom apartment sits on a historic street with free street parking. It’s on the ground level of a house with its own separate entrance. 8 minutes' walk to Metro-North (40 min express to/from Grand Central). 5 minutes' walk to the Main Street, which offers a fine selection of cafes, restaurants and shops. Perfect for a solo traveller or a couple's Tarrytown getaway, or anyone here for work! (Check out my Guidebook for local recommendations :)) The space The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, a bedroom with a comfy queen bed, big closet/storage space, cozy sectional sofa, TV for streaming, and washer/dryer. Guest access Enjoy the privacy and convenience of a separate entrance to the apartment from the back of the house. Guests will be able to use the entire one bedroom apartment on the ground floor. Other things to note * We have a little toddler, who might occasionally run around the first floor above the apartment and make some noise. Apologies in advance if that happens. (But on a positive note, if you need to borrow a pack n' play or a travel blackout curtain while staying with us, let us know and we will have them ready in the room when you arrive!) * Children/Infants are welcome but the 1 bedroom apartment is not 100% baby-proof. Caretakers need to exercise caution while staying in the room with infants. * Although there are no steps to get in/out, the sidewalk outside of the house is not well-paved. So it might NOT be fully accessible to wheelchairs. If you are using an umbrella stroller, it will be a bumpy ride for the little one.
