If you are looking for lodging nestled amongst the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains a few doors from the Blue Ridge School for boys in St. George, VA. Singing Springs offers the peace and tranquility you are searching for in a "Bed 'n Nightcap". From the gently flowing waters of the river that flows through it, to the majestic mountain peaks that surround you, this Villa will settle your soul. The space Room 202, often called "Lilly's pad", is our classic bedroom with a queen size bed and extra closet space. This room is cozy and inviting with quiet seating for sipping hot cocoa or reading a book. It overlooks the great room and has a view of the front gardens. This room uses the shared, large bathroom located downstairs. During your stay The front door of the house will be unlocked for arriving guests. Come in and make yourself at home. Lilly's Pad / room 202 is located on the second floor toward the front of the house. Going upstairs turn left at the top of the stairs, then a quick left again,, down a short hallway, and make another left, past a closet on the right. With the exception of your private bedroom and shared bathroom, the majority of the Villa's first floor is considered public use space. This includes a combination living room/great room with fireplace, library/media room, entertaining family room, and multiple patios. The kitchen is available for limited use. This means guests are invited to use the toaster oven or microwave units to warm food and the refrig to store items that need to be chilled, but extensive preparation of food ie. baking, frying, roasting, boiling, etc. is not allowed in the kitchen. Grilling is allowed on the dining room deck for a supplemental service charge of 5.00 per reservation period. Guests are invited to roam the trails throughout the 6 acres on Blue Ridge Peaks or play in the cool Roche River that runs through the Singing Springs Villa's estate. Other things to note Sometimes there is a small, very friendly dog on the premises.
