Chapel Forest Cabin

Come visit Michigan's Upper Peninsula and stay at this cozy cabin located in the Hiawatha National Forest! It is only 11 miles outside of Munising, MI and there is lots of space for a large family or group with sleeping for up to 18 people. It is important to note that only the Main Bedroom has a physical door. This home has two wood fireplaces, a full kitchen, a wrap-around deck, a detached three car garage, and a large shop with additional parking for vehicles, trailers, ATVs, or snowmobiles The space Main Level: Living room/ Fireplace/ Kitchen/ Dining Area/ Sunroom/ Half Bath/ Bedroom (only one with door) with a King Bed, closet, and Full Bath. Upper Level: Loft with a Full bed, Twin Bed, and Futon/ Bedroom (open doorway) with a King Bed and a Full Bath. Lower Level: Living room with poker table and pull-out couch/ Fireplace/ Bedroom (open doorway) with Twin Bunk Beds and a Twin Bed/ Bedroom (open doorway) with a Twin Bed/ Kitchenette/ Laundry room. Guest access The guests have full access to the property, which includes the detached 3-car garage and large shop building for extra vehicles. Other things to note The cabin is heated using radiant heat which comes from the heated tile floor on the lower level. The lower and main levels have large fireplaces to provide additional heat and we provide the wood and necessary supplies to start and maintain the fires.* There are also two propane heaters, one in the Dining Area and one in the Sunroom that are available for use. There is no air conditioning. (*The lift on the deck is for the log cart only and should never have people on it.) There is an insulated shop with a wood furnace that can be used to work on snowmobiles out of the cold!
