Welcome to El Pucará!!! Our wonderful Andean getaway in Monte Verde. Our House has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom, accommodating up to 15 people with comfort, fun and sophistication. The rooms are designed for your comfort, with a Living Room, Fireplace, Dining Room in 2 environments, full kitchen and a spacious balcony for you to relax and enjoy the view of the City and Mantiqueira. Differentials: Heated indoor JACUZZI, Gourmet space, Sauna, Playground and Court The space The access to the house is through the upper floor. The kitchen has everything you need: Refrigerator, stove, microwave, sandwich maker, dishes, cutlery, pots and all kitchen utensils. The Dining Room in 2 rooms accommodates 16 people, 12 people on a large rectangular table and 4 people on a round table next door. The living room has sofas, armchairs, a fireplace and a 46-inch TV for the perfect integration of family and friends. The upper balcony is spacious, has a table with 4 chairs so you can relax and enjoy the wonderful view of the city and the Serra da Mantiqueira. Still on the upper floor, the Master Suite has 1 double bed and a small single bed (for children up to 12 years old), closet and full bathroom. Completing the upper floor we have 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 1 single each, in addition to 1 full social bathroom. The lower floor has 2 suites, the Gourmet Space, the Jacuzzi and the sauna. Each suite has each 1 double bed and one single bed, plus 1 full bathroom. The Gourmet Space and Recreation Area are spectacular and integrated. Gourmet space is enclosed with glass doors, with Parrilla Argentina, industrial oven pizzas and baked goods (Leite, meats, pasta, etc.), industrial stove, Refrigerator, toilet, 2 large tables that sleep 18 people cutlery dishes, and barbecue utensils independent from the dining room. Leisure Area with an internal Jacuzzi (heated) for up to 8 people, closed with glass and a wonderful view of Mantiqueira Mountain. Check out the photo and imagine the experience of relaxing in the Jacuzzi with great company and enjoying your favorite drink. Next to the Jacuzzi you can enjoy the Steam Sauna, then an invigorating shower and return to the Jacuzzi. Children can play in the playground and on the basket court. They'll have plenty of space and motivation to play outdoors. We offer basketballs and soccer. Our History Our home, called El Pucará, represents some of our family's history. My parents come from Northern Argentina, at the foot of the Andes Mountain, on the border with Bolivia and Chile. This region was land of the Inca Empire, and its entire culture and history is rooted in this civilization and subsequent conquest by the Spanish. At the high point of the entrance to each Inca city, a stone fortification was built with the goal of military and commercial control of the movement of the entire valley. This fortification was called El Pucará. As our house is at the top, above the Monte Verde entrance Portal, and with a view of the entire city and worth a view of the whole city, we decided to honor our culture and the origin of our family, calling it El Pucará. We keep our house spotless, as it is our point of coexistence and cultivation of our friendships. This is where my parents receive their 3 children, 6 grandchildren and our best friends.
