The 153-year-old Italianate mansion features 12 ft ceilings, enormous doors, a library, chapel, 2 parlors, and a large modern kitchen. Walk to downtown. Private parking. Please note listing is for one room (The Worthington Room) in a bed & breakfast, not the entire mansion. * THE WORTHINGTON IS BOOKED AT A VALUE RATE SO BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED UNLESS REQUESTED The space The Worthington Room is our coziest suite, featuring a Full-sized hand carved wood bed outfitted in our luxury Comphy Co. linens. The room has a modern en suite bathroom with shower and features a warming rack for our plush turkish cotton towels. All of our rooms have luxurious white robes for guest use during their stay. A stay at The Vistula Rose is a one-of-a-kind experience for many. Stepping through the doors is like stepping back in time to a period when life moved slower, homes were works of art, and life was full of little luxuries. We want our guests to leave feeling refreshed and pampered. The home is an enormous, beautiful historic home in Toledo's Historic Vistula District. The 153-year-old mansion features 12 ft ceilings, 10 ft doors, a Library, 2 Parlors, large modern kitchen, a chapel, and expansive halls. There are 2 half-baths on the first floor. The home is furnished in beautiful period furniture but features the modern updates we all love such as updated bathrooms, TV, a Keurig coffee bar, and free WiFi. There is a private, well-lit parking lot. The yard is semi-enclosed with an iron gated fence. Take a stroll through the gardens or lounge on the porch swing with a cup of tea. The home feels secluded, yet it is within minutes of downtown Toledo. **The Worthington Room is booked at a value rate and is the only suite that does NOT include breakfast unless it is requested (for an additional fee). ** Guest access Guests will have their own fully private suite with en suite bathroom. Guests have access to the common areas on the first floor including the Library/Dining room, the parlors, and the chapel. Use of the kitchen is limited to storage in guest refrigerator per health and safety regulations. The home is under restoration by the new owners. Several areas of the mansion are unfinished and off-limits. The third floor, 4th floor tower, and the basement are not permitted for guest access due to safety hazards present. The innkeeper will usually offer a tour and history of the home to new guests if they wish. During your stay We will be available by message/ phone throughout your stay to assist with any needs. Innkeeper will not be on site at all times to ensure privacy of guests, however they within 5 minutes of the mansion. Other things to note All guest rooms are located on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator access. Keurig coffee station is available to guests 24 hours on 2nd floor.
