Brixton Penthouse Studio is a perfect place to enjoy vibrant Brixton and all the sights of London. 2 min bus ride or an 8 min walk to Brixton Tube / Rail. Then 10 mins to central London.Or 20 min electric Lime bike to Westminster Bridge, Waterloo and London Bridge. This studio configuration includes a kitchenette, bathroom and dining area. This space is freshly painted and modern, the flat is light and airy and has brand new furnishings. Plus views over treetops. 3rd Floor - stairs only. The space This is a light and airy space that’s very comfortable. There is a very comfortable new double bed as well as a sofa bed that extends to a second double bed. Guest access You will have access to the communal laundry area (which includes two washing machines and two dryers, an iron and ironing board and a Dyson vacuum cleaner). Everything else is self contained in your lockable studio. Other things to note Brixton is regarded as one of London's top place for lively and interesting markets, restaurants, bars and nightspots. It is a brilliant place to enjoy exploring or hopping into any part of central London. The sights of London arc around the Thames River, from Battersea Power Station and the Houses of Parliament in the West to London Bridge and Canary Wharf in the east. Brixton is in the middle of this arc, so everything in Central London is accessible in about 20 minutes by taxi, tube or a ride-share Lime Bike using the incredible new bike lanes that make it safe and simple to get anywhere. Whether it is the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, a West End show or the Shard or Borough Markets, these are all equidistant from our property. Brixton is also close to transport links for all airports Heathrow, Stanstead, Gatwick, City and Luton airport. These are also equidistant (allow about an hour). Plus it is handy to the major train stations of Kings Cross (for the Eurostar), Waterloo, Paddington, Charing Cross and Liverpool Street Station. The Victoria tube line starts in Brixton and connects with all major tube lines (don't forget that the newest and fastest Elizabeth line is just 30 minutes between Bond Street tube station and Heathrow airport - Bond Street's also just 6 stops or 12 minutes from Brixton). Brixton also has a mainline railway station which connects you to other parts of the UK. It is one minute from the Brixton tube station. You will be amazed at how handy Brixton is for exploring London and how easy it is to get to with your bags. At the Brixton tube station, our top tip is to look for the elevator (it's very fast and has step-free access from street to platform, though we suggest you walk from the ticketing gates to the street access). We also have a handy guidebook when you book for Brixton and Brixton Hill that's available as part of the AirBnB app. Brixton is brimming with indoor and outdoor markets, shops, cafes, seriously great restaurants, award-winning bars, a terrific cinema (The Ritzy) and a lot of nightspots (for top live music and DJs). Our property is is a short walk to the heart of Brixton, in an enclave called Brixton Hill. We are two houses away from the action on our side of the street and opposite many choices for dining. In Brixton Hill you'll find some of best food and drink in the area (open at all hours), a supermarket, a late night bar and a top gym.
