This well-thought-out chalet has 3 king beds & 3 full bathrooms, with sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests. There is A/C for those hot summer nights, and a private hot tub just outside the door for those cool evenings. It's dog friendly too.* The space IMPORTANT: THE POOL, CLUBHOUSE, TENNIS, & PICKLEBALL COURTS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE MONDAYS THROUGH THURSDAYS, AND ALL US HOLIDAYS ARE EXCLUDED. ONLY 6 GUESTS AT A TIME MAY USE THE POOL! The pool is only open from approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day, and it is subject to weather and availability. Please see the complete list of pool, clubhouse, tennis, and pickleball court rules to make sure you are comfortable following them before booking. These are located under our house rules in the listing. This beautiful new home is the ideal Mt. Baker Escape! The Woodland’s is located just over the top of a serene little pond with mountain views. There are gorgeous walking trails along the river nearby. The large picture windows let the surrounding nature and trees in, making you feel like you’re up in a tree house. This well thought out home was designed just for the purpose of hosting guests. It has a large entry way with lots of space and hooks for drying off your hiking or snow gear and there are ski and snowboard holders as well. The first floor is the main entry and has an outdoor trail heading up to the hot tub behind the house. There is one large bedroom with a king-sized bed, two sleeper sofas that convert to twin beds to sleep 4 in this room, and a full bathroom and laundry room. The sleeper sofas are very firm so please take that into consideration depending on your needs. Heading up the stairs you will find the large picture windows letting in all the natural light around you, and a cozy wood burning fireplace for those relaxing evenings with your favorite beverage. Please note that we do not provide wood for the fireplace, but it can be purchased nearby. We ask that the wood stove only be used by those familiar with them, and confident that they will not ruin our wood floors around them. On this floor you’ll also find the well-stocked kitchen with everything you need for dining in, and a welcome binder with local places to eat if you prefer to go out. The large picture windows are ideal for relaxing in comfort while you enjoy the beauty of nature. The sliding glass doors let you out onto the front deck where you will find a propane BBQ. (Please note that children are not allowed on the deck because they could climb the railings.) The second bedroom is on this floor with a king-sized bed, and there's a sliding glass door going out to the hot tub. There’s another full bathroom with a shower/tub combo off of the living room.. If you prefer not to go through the bedroom to get to the hot tub, there is a pathway from the main entry to get back to it. Heading up to the third floor you’ll find a small lofted area with a foosball table, the master bedroom with another king-sized bed, and a full bathroom with a ¾ shower. *Please note that the third-floor landing is not safe for children, and they are not allowed on that floor because they could climb the railings. By booking this home, you agree you are solely responsible for enforcing this rule and anything that happens from your not enforcing it. One other thing to note is that there are several stairs walking up to this home that may not be ideal for the elderly or those with disabilities. We do have other homes which are handicapped accessible if you’d like to inquire of those. Don’t forget that your furry family are welcome too. We gladly host up to two well behaved dogs for each stay. Other things to note The railings on the third floor landing and front deck outside (2nd floor) are horizontal, not vertical. Because of this children are not allowed on the third floor, or the 2nd story deck. The walkway going up to the house has several stairs. It is not recommended for the elderly, or those with disabilities that may struggle with this type of thing.
