We have carefully created the perfect luxury lakehouse for gathering with friends and loved ones. When you first arrive you will immediately notice amazing lake and mountain views and the feeling of being secluded in your own private nature retreat. Our home is ideally located far enough to be away from the crowds but near 40 and Exit407-Sevierville, leaving a short drive to all the attractions of the smokies (Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Smokey Mountain National Park and Pigeon Forge) . But with all the amenities available, you may not want to leave! There are 2 steps required to enter the property. However, there is two bedrooms & full bathroom located on the main level. Additionally you can drive and park near the lower level which for no stair access. ☀ Do you need to bring your own linens? ➜ No, no and absolutely not! Our promise to our guests is to provide consistency and to us, consistency means ensuring essentials. We will provide sheets, towels, washcloths, etc so that you can fill your bags with more exciting things! ☀ What other amenities do you provide? ➜ We provide full bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom. We also provide ample trash bags for the kitchen & bathrooms. Additionally, we provide a starter set of the following items that you might want to bring or purchase extra, depending on your length of stay: Toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, & laundry pods. ➜ For coffee lovers: the home has a traditional drip coffee maker with filters in the drawer right below, 2 keurigs (one upstairs and one downstairs) and a French press☕️ ☀ Where can I rent a boat? Several locations to rent paddleboards and other various boats and jet skis are nearby. The closest is H2O Water sports, just down the street from home. ☀ Can I dock my boat at the house? If you would like to bring your own boat, there are several places it can be put in the water within 10 minutes of the home, and can be secured to our dock for the entirety of your stay. ☀ Is there good fishing nearby? Yes! Lake Douglas has almost 600 miles of shoreline and is rated one of the best bass fishing lakes in the Country Important Notes: Dock is a walk down a winding path in the backyard. Some people choose to rent an ATV/UTV/Golf cart to make it quick and easy to get down to the lake (easily rentable from Good Ole Boys nearby they drop off at the house) Lake does lower in the Winter months, it varies due to precipitation and according to the TVA controls. Water typically begins rising in March in our cove. However this is TVA controlled and we cannot make promises on water levels. -The cabin is located on a mountain road. We strongly recommend trip insurance, especially during the Winter since there are no refunds for weather, power outages, or snow and ice. In these weather situations there can be delays in cleaning and check-in pending road conditions which can be outside of our control. Languages English
