Victorian Townhouse Guest Room
Description
Be our guests in this comfortably appointed bedroom with bay windows and private bath in our 1893 Victorian townhouse. High ceilings, fans, and many historic details. Share living room with TV, well appointed kitchen, and amazing hidden backyard with decks and ponds. Help yourself to breakfast and our home-roasted espresso. The space This room is one of three bedrooms we've listed on Airbnb in our Center City Philadelphia house - if your group is larger than two we're happy to discuss renting all rooms together. Each room can also accommodate a small child on a pallet if parents desire. The Guest Room is on the 2nd floor, and accesses its dedicated tile bathroom from the second floor hall, which has floor-ceiling bookshelves you are welcome to browse. This floor also has a living room with TV and our office room. Guest access Best way to come is to arrange a time so we can meet you at the front door. If that's not possible, we can provide instructions for access. Once you arrive, we'll provide a guest key for the front doors; individual rooms do not lock. During your stay My husband and I live in a suite on the 3rd floor, we're available for questions when around the house and by cell during the day. We have very simple breakfast foods - cereal, toast, fruit - available for guests along with espresso from our fancy machine, which we can make for you or we can teach you to be your own barrista. Other things to note We think Center City Philadelphia is one of the best places to live in the world - that's why we live here! At our house we have a lovely urban park, Fitler Square, on one side and the river park, including a walkway over the water and a river walking path to the Papal Parkway area. The downtown core is just a few blocks to the north east; we bike to work on Philly's bikeable streets. We hope you'll enjoy Philadelphia as much as we do!
