There are two bedroom upstairs with Queen Beds and one room with two bunkbeds, along with the upstairs bathroom with shower and deep soaking tub. Likewise the basement has a double and queen bed with the bathroom with shower and deep soaking tub. the main floor has kitchen, dining area and livingroom, with a den off the livingroom that also serves as extra guests space with a pull out Trudel bed. Quiet Family Neighbourhood 3 min from Downtown and 10 min from the Airport Relax in a dappled sunlit living room (a Saskatchewan treasure), an evening drink on the indoor patio in the warm evening sun. Enjoy luxurious relaxation in our beautiful traditional 8-person Finnish Woodfire Sauna available on request. Please note that we charge per use for the sauna, wood and cleaning of the sauna. The house is perfectly located with easy access and less than a 10-minute Drive to both the airport as well as the University of Saskatchewan. Further it is a short walk to Sask Polytechnic and an easy walk to Downtown shopping. Ashworth-Holmes Park is a 1/2 block away with a fabulous kids playground with climbing and swings, large open Play fields, the Mayfair Lawn Bowling Club, and picnic areas in the trees. in the winter cross country ski tracks are set around the park for those avid winter lovers to get out and enjoy a quick ski .The neighborhood also has Harry Bailey Aquatic Center three blocks away and in the summer Mayfair Outdoor Pool. two blocks away there is grocery shopping, restaurants, antiques, knick-knacks, and Mayfair Bakery which is the best bakery in the city. Summer and Winter it is the perfect place to stay. One caveat... if you are a self-described ”clean freak" (or given the lable by those close to you) The Ruby may not be the place for you. It is a charming character house, but it is also over 100 years old. And as with all of us, age can be its own imperfection. We do have 2 to 3 people spending hours cleaning almost every day()far more than the $60 cleaning fee allows), but still it may not achive the standard of a "clean freak". We seek to delight our guests, and have over 300 5-star reviews, but if cleaning perfection is key to your comfort and enjoyment then another place may be a better fit.
