MONTE PLACIDO is a small boutique residence of 7 homes and a shared infinity pool. Our hilltop offers lush tropical gardens with ocean and mountain views. AC is available only in master bedroom The space Villa Mari sleeps a maximum of 4 guests in 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. We do not allow more than 4 guests. ((ONLY THE MASTER BEDROOM HAS AIR CONDITIONING))The kitchen is fully equipped. We are proud to offer fiber optic cable internet service, ideal for working remotely. You can use the flat screen TV to view your streaming accounts like Netflix. The home offers magnificent ocean and mountain view with the terrace designed for privacy. This home has a fenced in yard and pets are allowed. We request they do not sleep on the bed and stay off the furniture. Sleep comfortably with both ocean and mountain breeze. Rooms have ceiling fans. The Master Bedroom has air-conditioning which is metered and an extra charge. Beds are equipped with nets, however with the hilltop breeze there are truly very few mosquitoes. Our residence is “GREEN” using solar power, with both city power and a generator for back up! You will not experience any long-term power outages here. Please respect the neighbors and keep the music volume down especially after 10PM. Guest access MONTE PLACIDO guests have access to the pool and barbecue, also the yoga studio. After a busy day, return to our hilltop paradise and relax in the refreshing infinity pool. A favorite pastime is to hang on the edge where the water cascades and sip on a cool beverage. A pool cabana and two separate lounging, and dining areas offer privacy. Inside the pool, you will find a shallow area for children and a deep area for swimming. SHIVA’S CAVE YOGA STUDIO is on site. Experience this mystical, magical place with interesting rock formations and special energy. The interior cave chamber is perfect for quiet meditation Look out over the ocean and enjoy your own personal workout on the large wooden deck. The studio can also be used for special events such as weddings, dance lessons and seminars. Guests at MONTE PLACIDO have access to a variety of services both on and off site. Our massage room is available for booking. Order a meal through the KOMIDA app. Have groceries conveniently delivered by Supermercado Lindo. We can help you organize activities you will not find through a tour operator like: hiking in the hills just behind MONTE PLACIDO, fishing with a local from our village, private yoga or belly dance lessons, or horseback riding just 5 minutes from us. Guests will also enjoy free membership at the Las Terrenas Beach and Sailing Club. Other things to note We provide an initial set up of disposable items like garbage bags and toilet paper. Once they are used it is up to you you to buy your own disposable items. More 5-gallon bottles are available for sale on site.
